"Sure, now she talks." Acer said rolling his eyes.

The girl frowned at him. Syn hugged the girl." Come on. Let's get you home." The girl nodded before standing.

Acer stood up after the girls. He packed up everything, which wasn't much. He packed the bowl the rabbit was in. He held it in his hand in front of the girl and looked at her.

The girl smiled and gently took the bunny form him." T-thank you." Syn smiled as she put her backpack on, swaying slightly.

Acer looked at Syn. "What's got you acting like Glinda the Good?"

Syn blinked, confused." Who?"

Acer smiled. "Never mind" He looked around. "Which way?"

"East." She limped to the road and nearly stumbled.

Acer put her arm around him. "Here."

"Thanks." SHe smiled weakly before starting to walk, thankful that he was helping her.

"So how much further?" Acer said taking n more of her weight.

Syn pointed to where you could see the top of the buildings from above the trees.

"Alrighty then." He said pressing forward.

Once they got there and looked around, they found the girl's family. They thanked them and left, taking the little girl home. Syn was very pale and seemed weaker than before.

Acer looked worried. "We gotta get you to a hospital." He picked her up and went to the emergency room.

"N-no. I just want to go home." She said said, resting her head against his chest.

Acer shook her slightly to wake her up. "Don't fall asleep!" HE burst through the emergency room doors and they put her on a bed. He followed behind her as the rolled her to a room.

Syn tried to say something the words wouldn't come out. She passed out on the way to the room, blood seeping through the bandages on her head.

They took Syn into a room for operating. They said Acer couldn't go in so he went where the me school graduates completing their residency go to watch.

(lol. Syn does die when she's 27 )

Thoughout the entire surgery, Synwas motionless. One of the doctors had to put her on life support since she wasn't breathing. Even without the drugs that keep her asleep, Syn never woke up. After what seemed like forever, the doctors finally finished.
