Acer looked at the ruins. When they arrived he touched one of the burnt buildings.

"Careful. One of them can collapse on you." She walked through the village.

"Umm...ok" he said like it was a question. He looked around at what once was Syn's home. "Lotta memories here huh?"

Her eyes clouded and dulled." None I wish to remember." She turned and walked toward the cemetery.

Acer followed close behind, she knew the layout far better than he did, and he was well aware of it. "So.... what happened?"

" A man...he blamed my parents for not being able to save his wife. She had several gunshots in her body. Not only did she lose a lot of blood....there was a bullet in her heart. My parents couldn't save her..." Syn looked at the ground." He came with a group of men and killed everyone. My brother got in the way to protect me but the other men pushed him aside....I don't remember what happened next."

Acer didn't bother saying sorry anymore, he simply placed his hand on her shoulder.

"Want me to show you what I woke up to?" She led him to the center of the village. There was a huge crate and in the center was untouched dirt." I was laying in the middle."

Acer nodded slowly, "What's happened here? It looks like a shooting star landed here"

Fixed it.

"I don't know. I woke up and it was just here. The men were all dead."

Acer looked surprised, "How strange," he said waling around observing.

"No one could tell me what I did. The men had holes in thier chests so it puzzled me."

Acer turned to her, "Holes in their chest?"

"Clean through so you could see through them."

Acer stepped closer, "They were dead....right?"

"Yeah." She looked at him.

Acer let out a small puff of air from his mouth. "And you the only survivor?"

"I said I was." She walked toward the cemetery.
