"So where did you learn to heal?" Acer said without even looking at Syn.

"I was actually born with the knowledge. My parents were doctors."

"So you learned what your mother did in the womb?" Acer said a little surprised.

"No. When she became sick before I was born, I cured her. They say the sickness granted me my abilities."

"How interesting." Acer said, pretty amazed. "You learned you abilities from you mother. Same as me." Acer paused for a moment after saying that. He continued walking like it didn't phase him.

Syn looked at him before looking at the ground." That village...the way it was on fire...it reminded me of my village."

"Where are you from? I've traveled a lot and might know it." Acer said smirking

"I don't think you have. It's gone. Turned to ashes." Syn sighed.

"Your village burned down too?" The wind blew in Acer's face, lifting his hair and revealing his green eyes.

"I'm the only survivor." She looked up at him.

Acer looked shocked. "your an orphan?"

Syn nodded." My parents died when I was six."

Acer looked at Syn. "My mother died when I was young too."

Syn looked at him." I'm sorry for your loss."

Acer looked forward. "I could say the same for you." he showed a slight grim.

"I guess. They used to beat me after they got into a huge fight though. My older brother tried to protect me but he couldn't stop them." Syn rubbed the back of her left hand.

Acer looked disturbed. "Well I've always wanted siblings.....but i never thought of anything like that."

"I don't know where my older brother is. He left before the village was destroyed but I haven't seen him since.

Acer felt eyes glued to him, he then realized the source of the eyes. In their concentration of their discussion they had already walked in to the village and were in the town square. "How 'bout that?"

Syn looked up and blinked." That was faster than I expected." Syn looked around.
