Acer held back a smile. "Thanks i guess."

"Anytime. Besides, that's what friends are for." She smiled.

Acer blinked before asking. "So how far until we reach her stop?"

"A day's walk to the..North, I believe."

Acer contemplated using his armor. "Sounds like it could take a while."

"It is but we'll get there." She looked up at him." You don't have to come along if you don't want to."

Acer smirked. "Got nothin better to do." He thought about using his armor again.

Syn smiled." Fine but I am gonna help you get used to kids."

Acer smirked as he walked. "Your funeral."

"'Scuse me?" She raised an eyebrow.

Acer couldn't help but laugh. "Relax, just a joke."

"I know." She punched him in the arm, laughing.

Acers face looked unimpressed. They came to a fork in the road. "Which way?"

Syn looked around and smiled, spotting something on a tree." Left."

Acer sighed and headed left. He noticed the sun was setting and they needed to fine somewhere to stop for the night, but there was no where to sleep for miles. "I have to use my armor." He said under his breath to himself while looking diagonally down away from Syn.

Syn looked around before walking a bit into the forest, off the path. She set her pack down before heading off and gathering firewood.

Acer looked at her like she was mad. "Whoa whoa whoa, what do you think you're doing?"

"Getting firewood." She smiled." What? Never camped out in the woods before?" She teased.

Acer looked disgusted. "Yeah, i have, but these parts are too dangerous to sleep in tonight." Acer sighed before kicking up some dust and cursing to himself under his breath. "I can get us there by tonight, just come here."

"It's safer to sleep out here than there. You can go ahead but I'm staying here until morning." She disappeared into the forest. The small girl sat next to Syn's pack.
