Can someone tell me what the meditations in roses are...whether they are all the same or whether they are written by the person who buys the rose? I want to keep the friendship rose and stuff instead of "using" it, but I want to know whether I'm missing a personally written message by doing that. Thx!

The rose doesn't show a personalized message. 
It's randomly generated by the site. The only custom messages for the store and gifting systems are the PMs you can customize, but they don't get removed unless you delete them.
