Yukiko pulled away a little, startled." So your not really normal animals I'm guessing." She watched them with her blue eyes. She pulled her hands away from them, blushing a little.
Kyo shook her head. "No. I am a Kitsune of the forests." she looked over at beast. "I... can only assume he is a shape shifter." She then looked back to the girl, her tail twitching. "Do you know why can no one see you my, dear?" the fox asked.
Beast nodded then shook his head wildly. "Well your guess is partly right." He gave a grin. "As far as i can guess, humans aren't as connected to nature as animals, so they probably can't can't see the spirits of nature either."
"No. No one cares to notice me. You could probably see me in human form but you just have to notice." Yukiko sighed, looking at the ground.
"We are spirits, dear. In human disguises, we still are what we are, good child. No matter how real it feels or looks it is all but an illusion." the kitsune chuckled, the sound echoing through out the cavern. "Even if it's a shifter like this one here... A tree can branch off but it always originates back to it's root and where it all started. The seed." She of course was referring to Beast. Looking down at the girl, the kitsune leaned in closer. "As far as I can tell, you are a spirit. Like the one who shifts says, humans can't see beings like us unless we make ourselves known by manifesting ourselves. You are but invisible in this world unless you can make yourself known, good child... However there is a catch."
((OCC: getting all deep and stuff? ))
Beast walked in circles. "Get to the point already!" He said sound aggravated yet happy at the same time.

Allestrina opened her eyes. What had happened? She looked over herself, taking stock. Memories came racing back to her...
The search for her birth parents. The climb in the woods. The Fel Mirror. The arcane...
Her fingers twitched, she could still move. She searched her pouch. The object was gone. It had...teleported her. But where? She was face up in the snow. Her stomach felt afire. She stood up, wincing. She had been attacked by animals...claws...teeth.
Her fingers traced the large gash, still bleeding. Why had they left? Her eyes searched the area. There were sets of humanoid footprints amidst the scuffle. Light, why couldn't she remember?
She closed her eyes, sensing the magical prowess of the Light come at her call. Energy rained about her, healing the wounds.

Yukiko looked at Kyo, curios. She blinked as she sensed a new presence nearby. Yukiko swallowed as she pulled her knees closer, shivering as the air around her became cold once more.
Kyo too sensed the presence. Her tails raised into the air as she stood, looking at the cave entrance. The kistune glanced back at the child. "Do not fear." she said as she trotted closer to the entrance. Her head popped out from behind the snow, like a rabbit for a moment. Her nose had picked up the scent of blood. Oh how she hated the smell of blood.
Allestrina's gashes healed flawlessly, finally she fell to her knees. Her eyes closed and she felt weak, but at least she wasn't worrying about losing more blood. She took a deep breath, studying the unfamiliar trees. Her eyes fell again to the footprints. She set her face into a determined mask and stepped forward into the snow. She cursed at it. She had no boots, just slippers. It had been easy walking around Silvermoon, but not here. Her brows furrowed and her breath quickened. It was so cold!! She was torn between following the footprints and finding her way to warmth.
Yukiko nodded before letting go of her energy. The air became warmer all around the area of snow. Yukiko relaxed and leaded against the cave wall.
Beast looked at Yukiko. "What he said." Beast crawled low to the ground as if hunting after sensing another presence. He crawled next to Kyo and he saw someone in the snow. Without facing Kyo he communicated "What do you think?"
Closing her eyes, Light once more gathered around her, forming a cloud at her feet. She rose a few inches above the ground, floating. She shivered at the wind. There would be nothing she could do about the cold. Setting her face in a determined mask, she floated around the footprints, trying to make sense of them. They were only a few hours old. She had been attacked. They must have left her for dead after they took the object and killed the animals. Perhaps, she reasoned, they belonged to a town or village nearby. Would that village be friendly? She didn't know.
Allestrina wrapped her arms around herself. She wouldn't cry. This was an adventure and she would meet it head on. She followed after the footprints, looking around her for anything that might serve to keep her warm. If only they had left the animals they killed, perhaps she could have found some use for their fur.
