We're often so used to focusing on (in order work on) our flaws, I thought it would be a neat exercise to name the best thing about youuuu.

The best thing about me is:

I can usually see where people are coming from, even when I disagree with them about an issue.

Aww, I like this! Time for me to think...

The best thing about me is:

Accepting people for who they are and always willing to be there for them. <3

(And @Abigail_Austin, the same goes for you, too!)

The best thing about me is seeing someone who needs cheering up or encouragement then going in there to help them feel better about themselves.

I think the best thing about me is that I always try to be there for others and help them when they need me, but also being able to recognize my own needs and limits and taking care of myself.
This is a really good idea! It's so easy to focus on all the negative things in and around us. :)

I think my best quality is probably my ability to usually read people pretty well. Even as a young child, I just had a "feeling" about some people. Sometimes it's a good feeling, unfortunately other times not so much. But I think it's kept me out of trouble a few times. It's also kind of nice to have an idea that many negative behaviors displayed by others are the result of a hidden depression or pain - that enables me to have the best (or at least better) response toward them. This intuition also helps me to see and understand (though not necessarily agree with) both sides of a situation.

I really like this idea! It might be able to help me keep stuff off of my mind if I look back at it

I think the best thing about me is how positive I am. If something bad happens, I'm most likely the person who keeps a happy attitude and can possibly lift the other people out of the dumps. If I wasn't positive, I probably wouldn't even know who I am! It's a big part of my personality, I believe.

You are right, you have great eyes! The color and the shape. The color seems brown with a tint of green or something--neattttt.
Idk if this is good from me to say, as the saying goes "pride a lot, little to show"...but I guess is being objective?

Like I'm not going to be an hypocrite here: I am an stubborn asshat whenever I have to admit I was wrong about anything, and I tend to sugar coat my arguments so they go down easily, I'm no paragon of honestly by long shot. But I try to be objective whenever a friend asks me for advice without hurting their feelings, if the latter can be helped. It sounds jerk-ish, but if you completely lie to people so they don't feel bad, you aren't very helpful to the matter, are you?

I'm not a jerk; I'm not going to go to my friend who just got a breakup and tell them "to you were an ass to them, you had it coming.". But I try to approach to the matter in a whay that I don't make them feel bad, but give them an 60% objective advice, or so.

Idk, it's something I try to do, but don't get to do always, so it's kind of hypocrital from me. But hey, where always changing our minds, so what's better than admitting that you're an hypocrite amairite folks?

Tldr: I take pride o recognizing that I'm a hypocrite and a insensitive idiot bc I suck that much. Don't pay attention pls I'm simultaneously sleep deprived and tired and hungry.

Yes, you are! You are nice and kind. It's my favorite thing about you (in addition to your writing skill, sense of humor, and our similar genre preferences).

And thanks!

Ok, it sounds to me like you're saying that you pride yourself on being a friend who someone can ask advice from and expect an honest answer. That's something to be proud of. And if you don't always meet your own standards that doesn't make you a hypocrite, it means you're stretching yourself towards standards that are appropriately a little beyond what you can do now, which is called growth! So good job! ;)

...ok I think I teared up a little there.

That's super sweet from you to say! Ty fam aaaaaa ;;v;;💕
Hm.

I'm an introvert magnet. I've been told by many introverts that I cost little to no energy to be around. This extends into other things, like people generally just being comfortable with me, to the point that they randomly open up about unexpected things, can relax and fall asleep on me even when they're usually a nervous person, and people often trust me disconcertingly quick. And that's before I started working as a pro cuddler.
