Hello, trainers. Welcome to the World of Pokemon! Today's the day you finally receive your first Pokemon, and you know what that means. You'll finally get the chance to explore the world to your heart's content with your new Pokemon partner. Some people raise their Pokemon to become powerful battlers, others raise them as pets for companionship, but whatever your reason is, you can guarantee that your Pokemon will play a huge role in your adventure. Will you tackle the Pokemon League or do you have different ambitions? Before I introduce myself, I'd like to know a few things about you, like are you a boy or a girl?

Cheesy intro aside, I'm looking for 2 people to join me on an RP that loosely follows the basic structure of the games, but plays out similarly to the anime. Essentially, we each choose our starter and set off to explore the respective region to tackle the gyms, take on the region's villains, and so on, but like the anime, we might occasionally get sidetracked by various sidequests. I'd like the RP to mostly center around character development and interaction, but like all Pokemon games, combat will play a key role, which I'll explain later in the post. I'd greatly prefer we have trainers that are just made up on the spot, but if you have a premade trainer, that's fine as well.


Take a trip back to when there were only 151 Pokemon, back when the villains were just a bunch of gangsters. We'll be exploring the nostalgia filled region of Kanto. As expected, this'll play similarly to the Red, Blue, and Yellow games. So, I'd ideally like 2-3 people to join me for this one, with each of us claiming one of the available starters (Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, and Pikachu) as we travel about Kanto, taking on the gyms, Team Rocket, and filling up the Pokedex. We could also include some of the stuff introduced in FireRed and LeafGreen, like the contests and Battle Frontier if that's more your style.

I'll be using Louis, he's a simple trainer with simple goals, seeking to take his place as the Kanto League Champion. He's got a kind heart, though he's a bit arrogant and rash. He has a fondness for Poison-type Pokemon and wishes to become an expert in the type.

He'll be starting with Bulbasaur, the rest of his team will show up as the RP progresses.

Kanto Starters:

Fast forward a few years and you'll find yourselves in the quiet, but beautiful region of Johto. Now with 251 Pokemon and a Team Rocket with new ambitions, we'll find ourselves with a brand new adventure to explore. As expected, this'll play similarly to the Gold, Silver, and Crystal games. In addition to the gyms, we can include the Pokeathlon and the Battle Frontier introduced in HeartGold and SoulSilver. Ideally, I'd like two people to join me for this one, with each of us claiming one of the available starters (Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile) as we travel about Johto in order to complete our goals.

I'll be using Russell for the RP, he's a trainer that has goals of unlocking the secrets left behind by Johto's ancient people, he is rather intelligent, but he is kind and a bit timid at times. He also has dreams of catching the mythical Pokemon, Celebi.

He'll be starting with Cyndaquil, and he'll obtain the other Pokemon in his party as the RP progresses.

Johto Starters:

Fast forward once again and we'll find ourselves in the tropical, water filled region of Hoenn. A beautiful, tropical place that's currently under the threat of destruction thanks to Team Magma and Team Aqua. As expected, this'll play out similarly to the Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire games. In addition to the gyms, we can take on the contests, Battle Frontier, and eventually the Delta Episode (Spoilers may lurk within it) if we want to. Ideally, I'd like two people to join me for this one, with each of us claiming one of the available starters (Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip) as we travel about Hoenn in order to complete our goals.

I'll be using Nicholas for the RP, he's nothing more than an excitable trainer that wishes to see everything that the region has to offer, from what lies on the bottom of the ocean to what hides in the deepest forests. He's energetic, excitable, and almost sickeningly cheerful. He has no idea on his goals, but he figured he'll jump the hurdle when he gets there.

He'll be starting with Torchic, and he'll obtain the other Pokemon in his party as the RP progresses.

Hoenn Starters:

We're once again fast forwarding in time to the chilly region of Sinnoh. A cold, but beautiful region full of a unique culture, but unfortunately, it's being threatened by the vile Team Galactic. As expected, this'll play out similarly to the Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum games, we'll be taking on the gyms, Team Galactic, the contests, the Battle Frontier, and whatever else I've missed. Ideally, I'd like two people to join me for this one, with each of us claiming one of the available starters (Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup) as we travel about Sinnoh to complete our goals.

I'll be using Walter for this RP, he's a trainer that seeks to become a well respected hero, he has a cheesy sense of justice, being kind and loving, though he isn't the brightest person around.

He'll be starting with Chimchar, and he'll obtain the other Pokemon in his party as the RP progresses.

Sinnoh Starters:

Move ahead nearly five years and we'll end up in Unova. In this heavily populated, yet intriguing region, we'll be taking on the Unova League as we deal with Team Plasma (we can discuss whether it'll be N's Team Plasma in B/W or the Neo Team Plasma in B2/W2). As expected, this'll play out similarly to the Generation V games, though whether we go for in the story in Black and White or Black 2 and White 2 is up for discussion. Ideally, I'd like to get two people to join me for this one, with each of us claiming one of the available starters (Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott) as we travel about Unova to complete our goals.

I'll be using James, he's a simple training seeking to become a well respected battler, his goal is to take on the Unova League and eventually take his spot as Unova League champion. He has a good heart, but his arrogance can often make him come off ruder than he intends. He is flirty and won't hesitate to court a beautiful woman.

He'll be starting off with Oshawott, and he'll obtain the other Pokemon in his party as the RP progresses.

Unova Starters:

Go ahead nearly three years and we'll wind up in Kalos, a region full of beautiful sights and interesting people, but like most of the other regions, they're under the threat of Team Flare. Man, the police force in this world are terrible, aren't they? Anyways, as expected, this'll follow X&Y, we'll take on the Kalos League, fight Team Flare, and we could add the Pokemon Showcases from the anime to give us a little something extra to play around with. Ideally, I'd like two people to join me for this one, with each of us claiming one of the available starters (Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie) as we travel about Kalos as we complete our goals.

I'll be using Lawrence, a musician loving Pokemon trainer that has goals of becoming a well respected Pokemon trainer, he plays country covers of real world metal and rock songs. He is energetic, loud, but kind and caring.

He'll be starting with Fennekin, and the other Pokemon will join his party as the RP progresses.

Kalos Starters:

Nearly twenty years since Red and Blue were released and our journey finally comes to a close as we visit Alola. The tropical location is filled with all kinds of unique locations, a unique locale, and a goofy team of gangstas. We'll travel about Alola as we take on the Island Challenge, fight against Team Skull and the Aether Foundation, among so many other things. Obviously, this'll follow the Generation 7 games, and ideally, I'd like two people to join me, with each of us claiming one of the available starters (Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio) as we travel about Alola to complete our goals.

I'll be using Jay, a simple trainer that's wishing to start his own Pokemon Sanctuary when he gets older, he loves Pokemon and is rather flirty, wishing to start his own family in the future as well. He has a good heart, but he's rash and is incapable of fully assessing situations.

He'll be starting with Popplio, and the other Pokemon will join his party as the RP progresses.

With this RP, we're simply following the basic premise of the Pokemon games with bits and pieces from the anime being incorporated into the RP. Combat is simple, it's largely freeform, but if you're battling against someone, we'll be rolling 1d100, the person with the higher number will end up winning the battle, if you somehow end up getting the same number, just roll again until one person is confirmed to have a higher number. As with any Pokemon game, this'll largely be dependent on adventures and battles, romance is also an option, but we don't have to add it in. Patience is necessary when RPing with me, sometimes I can respond instantly, other times, it'll be a week before I respond. I'm not asking for walls of text or novels, but I need at least a paragraph per post. Starters are a first come first serve basis. While I'd prefer for this to be a small group of 2-3 people, I'm more than willing to do it on a 1x1 setting. Reply below or PM me if any of these interest you.

*Gasp* Why, what a shock! I can't believe my dear friend PolitelyDestroyingYo is here as well! Looks like I'm dragging them with me as I ask to RP in Unova as part of a totally coincidental coincidence.

I'm going to use Skye, a shy young thing who often has trouble communicating what she's thinking. She finds herself thinking too much, but when she calms down she's quite intelligent. She misses her home very much, and she gets stuck in memories on her journey. She's a flirtatious person, and she does such without meaning to.

I'd like Skye to start with Tepig, and she's going to catch:
