Deirdre chuckled a moment, Enzo frowning. "What's so funny?" There was a pause before she croaked into his ear. "How about... No." she reacted suddenly, aiming her pistol for his stomach, Enzo however saw it coming. He grabbed her wrist, a bullet sinking itself into the ceiling as he suddenly drew a needle from his pocket. His hold on Deirdre was solid for a moment as she grunted. She would then throw him off balance as she attempted to dive towards her gun that he'd thrown aside once he gripped her wrist. But he dove after her, leaping on top of her. Deirdre let out a painful squeak as Enzo was much heavier then she was.

"Sssh Sssh Sssh... Little princess." he laughed, stabbing the needle into her neck and pressing the pump. The woman let out a yelp in pain as her head began to spin, her vision blurring. She mumbled "Aaa..." she tried to alert Alain, unaware that he was breaching the door. However it sounded like she was coughing up liquid through the head set in the attempt. Guards barged into the room coming from the labs behind Enzo as he turned to Dave and strode closer to him. He would only stare down at Dave for a moment before smirking. The larger male easily overpowered Dave and punched him out. Enzo chuckled, brushing his hair out of his face. "Take them." he briefly said as they would start bringing them deeper into the facility as the door was close to breaching.

Alain finally breached the door by kicking it in. He immediately spotted the two quards left behind by Enzo. Not having expected a third operative, Alain quickly raised his gun and shot two bullets straight after eachother, the silencer did its work and there was no sign as both men dropped to the floor, both dead.Alain looked around, but couldn't see Deirdre nor Dave anymore. He cursed and walked over to door.
That's it. No more silence. He clicked at his headset and spoke softly but clearly into it.
"Enzo. I don't know who you are, But I'm coming for you." At that moment, he put a charge to the door and took cover. Only seconds later it blew up, blasting the door out of its hinges. The smoke and dust hadn't fallen yet when Alain stepped through and immediately gunned down three guards that had been startled by the blast.

As they soon stepped in the elevator, the doors closing with a chime indicating a guard had pressed a button to the lowest floor in the facility. He then heard Alain over the head set. The male froze. "Who the hell are you and how did you get in on this channel?!" he growled as he then stared down at the unconscious pair, who were leaned up against the elevator wall. Specifically, Deirdre. Narrowing his eyes, he turned off his mic a moment, calling up the security on the floor Alain was on. "Security, we have an intruder on level 7. Shoot to kill." he hissed as the soon reached the tenth floor. "Strip them of their weapons and gear. Throw em' in their own tanks for now." Enzo sighed. Nothing ever went according to plan. The guards had then begun to get to work, a researcher approaching Enzo with a bundle in his hand. "Here's you first pay check." the researcher said with a nod approvingly of their catch. "Make sure, the intruder is eliminated." he last said before walking away from Enzo, who stuffed the bundle into his bag.

Alain wasn't going to be stopped, however. he went from cover to cover, but never stayed there for long, pressing his offensive as quick as he could. Against this number, he just couldn't allow to let himself get pinned down. He rounded another corner and immediately got to one knee, shooting all who sought to stop him. he ignored the elevator and opted for the stairs. They were cloaked in darkness, and several soldiers were almost scared to death when The eerie blue light emitted by Alain's helmet coming around the corner, they never had time to respond.
Like that, Alain followed the group down, leaving a trail of death behind him.

Deirdre soon awoke in a small pool of blood that had collected around her face. Coughing dryly, she slowly moved. Her body ached slightly but it was no big deal. Her neck had been patched up by one of the researchers, but they couldn't do anything about the blood she had been spitting up. What was in that needle, Enzo had jabbed her with?! Vision blurry, she began to look around. Her vision soon became crystal clear. She was in a tank, like the ones in the large room they'd been in before when they encountered Alain. Only this time they were in a smaller room that only contained four tanks. Her equipment was gone and so were her weapons, leaving her with just her attire, that was a bit battered and dirty from being dragged there and then thrown in a rather dirty, empty tank. How lucky. Deirdre was about to attempt to stand and keep her balance but there was a sudden thud behind her. Whirling around, she was Enzo had hopped into the tank, from the hatch. "Hello there. Have a nice sleep?" he chuckled as Deirdre slowly pushed herself away from the man who'd begun to walk towards her.

"Awh, what's the matter? You had the wrong answer, hun... and this is the price." he gave her the eye as she had begun to feel terrified now. The man launched himself at her, pinning her to the floor. She struggled, under his grasp as he then had suddenly grasped both of her wrists together, pulling back his first and socking her right in the face. CRACK. He'd broken her nose and she screamed in pain. "Heh. I'm not finished yet." he begun to beat her up and she didn't have the energy to fight back, no matter how much she struggled. However he was soon stopped by a researcher who called him. "Hey. We need you out here." Enzo stopped and left Deirdre to lay on the floor of the tank. "You got lucky." he hissed in her ear as he'd left to attend to the mess Alain was making.

Deirdre whimpered in pain before she propped herself up against the glass. Oh she hoped Dave was OK. She swore if Enzo laid a finger on him or even Alain she was going to... going to... She didn't know what she could do.

Actually, Dave was right behind her. Still knocked out, he was having weird visions shoting through his head, then shot up, wide awake. he nearly crashed against the glass wall as he realized what situation he was in. His eyes then found Deirdre and he started smashing his fists against the glass to pull her attention.

Deirdre had been on the edge of unconsciousness once more before the sound of Dave slamming on the glass, hit her like a brick wall. The woman turned around, wincing in pain. "Dave!" she said hoarsely as she slowly got up and made her way over to Dave. She was badly beaten. Enzo seemed to be stronger then he looked. "Dave! Are you OK?" she said almost frantically as she leaned against the glass barrier between them.

Enzo stormed into the laboratory watching the cameras that observed the hallways. Alain was demolishing the guards out there. He growled as he pressed a button, closing the lab down to a 5 star lock down. Surely it would prevent him from coming any further. "Everyone, head into the next room and also put it on lock down. Seal the doors. I'll deal with this." he growled lowly and aggressively as the researchers and scientists left the room. The male picked up a remote and kept it with him as he then went to the emergency weapon locker that had opened with the lock down proceeding. Red lights began to flash through out the facility and a robotic voice spoke over the speaker system. "System is now on 5 Star Lock Down. Facility is in Danger. Repeat. 5 Star lock down is commencing. Outside forces have been alerted." Enzo smirked. Back up would soon arrive but he was however unaware about the bombs Alain had planted. He picked up a large rifle that seemed to be a product from the facility and reloaded it. Each soldier he had with him were the top guards in the facility, each waiting through out the room in hiding as they waited for Alain to reach the lab.

Alain heard the lockdown initiate, and a heavy Iron door slid closed behind him. Either he had been locked in, or he had been locked out. Only one way to find out.

Even more cautious than before, Alain cleared room by room until he finally reached the one Enzo lay in wait. He kicked the door in and immediately noticed a good amount of soldiers, better trained than the ones he'd faced before. Alain shot one of them straight through the head before he had to get into cover, Bullets soaring over his head.

Dave had a huge headache due to being knocked out, but he was otherwise okay. That's what he tried to signal to Deirdre in every possible way. He then sat back. There was no breaking out of here, as far as he could see. Alain had to defeat Enzo. Dave purposefully didn't think of the word 'kill', so he used defeat as alternative.

Soon the bullets started to fly and Enzo had disappeared. He smirked as he turned on the mic that was hooked to the speaker systems in the room. "Ah, hello there, intruder. I understand you have become a pest...Well. Let me just get the bug spray." he cackled as suddenly the lights turned off throughout the room. The shooting would continue as the soldiers began to proceed upon Alain.

Deirdre gasped as the lights turned off. Now she couldn't see anything what so ever, but very soon after fumbling around in the dark, she was grabbed by cold hands. "H-Hey!" she yelped only to be muffled as she was bound and lifted out of the cage. She then felt the barrel of a cold gun against her temple. She instantly froze. "So... This is your friend, huh? Let's see how he likes this." Deirdre struggled as she was then dragged along. As he dragged her along, among the flickering lights, she saw Alain. She began to panic slightly, struggling to try and get free. The woman cursed to herself.

The turning out of the lights didn't bother Alain that much. He'd fought in the dark before, against an enemy far worse than Enzo and his brigands. He shuddered for a second as the memories flooded back into his mind, but he shook them off and concentrated on the fight.

Alain's helmet lights in the front lit up a brighter blue color, more so than it was before. It now worked for him as a flashlight, as well as a blinding light ofr adversaries. He gripped his rifle for a second, then peered out from behind his cover. He saw a man aiming at him. He crawled back, then jumped out and looked straight at him. Together with two others, the man was blinded by the bright light and all three of them shot in all directions. One of them even killed a fourth soldier in the process. Alain aimed and quickly put all three of them down before jumping back into cover. All this had happened in a matter of seconds, and he now focused on the others.

Enzo had seen that Alain was still making a fool out of his soldiers and growled as he soon reached the platform in the center of the room, overlooking it all. He held Deirdre firmly with the gun pressed against her head. Enzo hissed into her ear. "You dare try to struggle and I swear I'll shoot you right now." Deirdre had no choice. She froze herself in place with an aggravated expression glued to her face. The lights flickered as Enzo once again spoke throughout the speakers in the room and another squad of soldiers poured into the room and behind cover. "I would suggest you give up and leave unless you want something to happen to your friend here." The lights once again came on in the room as the soldiers stopped shooting and remained behind cover.

Enzo looked down on Alain's position. "Drop the weapons and I won't kill these two." In front of him was the control panel to the tanks. Specifically, Enzo was referring to Dave's tank, where suddenly he nudged the lever. Water slowly began to start filling the tank and Enzo smirked as Deirdre began to panic, that hardened look suddenly disappearing as she looked at Dave's tank worried.

Alain scowled, and activated his helmet mic, making it possible for Everyone to hear him.
"I will kill you right where you stand."
He turned his mic back off.

Dave then jumped out from behind cover. At first he ran at normal human speed, as his move had confused the soldiers. He shot and killed three more before getting down on his knee and sliding the last part into cover. During that short moment of sliding, he shot another two. He got into cover, peered out the other side and shot several rounds into the tank Dave was hiding in. His powered Assault rifle finally managed to break through the reinforced glass. The water would now never reach higher than Dave's knees. He then started running from cover to cover, shooting soldiers as he went. Then he clicked the gun to his back once more. Still sitting behind cover - a low wall - he he held one hand slightly away from his body and used the other hand to press a small button hidden from view. An extra, reinforcing layer of armor materialized, covering his entire lower arm from hand to elbow in a reinforcing armor.

Dave jumped out, and probably surprised Enzo by running inhumanly fast as he reached the speed he inherited from his Gervian side. He came up right next to the man and his hostage, and punched him clean in the face with the reinforced fist. That, combined with the sheer speed he landed the blow with, sent them flying. In mid-air, Dave grabbed the pistol that had left Enzo's hand. They landed on the floor, Enzo first with a heavy thud, Dave on top of him, immediately pushing his the man's own pistol against his head.

As this all happened, Enzo had just begun to squeeze the trigger before Alain had landed a blow to his face. He fell back yelling as he had pushed Deirdre as he flew back. Deirdre tried to keep her balance though was however unsuccessful when she felt a jolt of pain through her side from being beat up before. She fell forward dropping to the main floor of the lab, landing on her left arm with a small cry of pain. There were still soldiers down on the main floor and she instantly saw them point their guns at her. Growling, she got up and launched herself into cover despite the pain. She however didn't have a weapon and she desperately searched for a moment until a guard barged into her cover. Deirdre acted fast, as she socked him in the face and kicked the gun from his hand. Over the guard's shoulder she saw his friend about to start shooting at her, but she quickly grabbed the dazed guard and used him to cover her as she picked up the guard's assault rifle and ran behind the tanks. Enzo struggled for a moment at the mercy of Alain who had landed on him. Now the roles had switched and he was now the victim.

After a split second of considering wether or not to kill the man, Alain decided to just knock him out. He disarmed the man and tied him down with some wiring he pulled from underneath one of the desks. He then got up, used Enzo's pistol to quickly kill five approaching guards and then threw the empty firearm aside, taking his assault rifle to help Deirdre finish off the remaining soldiers.

Deirdre threw the guard down and ran up the nearest stairway to the platforms above, dashing to Dave's tank and opening the hatch and reaching down to help Dave out. As soon as Dave was helped out she began to make her way to Alain, hopefully with Dave following her. There were only 6 guards left in the room, each sending a barrage of bullets at the trio. "Let's finish this. The sooner, we're done and out of here the better." she huffed as she got behind cover as two of the soldiers came up the stairs. Deirdre leaned around the corner, shooting down one of them.

Alain shot the other, almost simultaniously with Deirdre. He grinned at her before turning back to the others, Once again running towards two of the guards at extreme speed. He jumped up and kicked one of them (the one on the right) hard in the chest with both his feet and shot another one in the process. The first one fell to the floor, and the combined force of Alain jumping into him and landing on top of him broke several ribs. The man he'd shot in the process died instantly as Alain rolled back into cover, now trapping the remaining four soldiers between him and Deirdre and forcing them to take cover.

Deirdre gave Alain a cheeky grin back. It was nice working with him again. She took the assault rifle and almost literally mowed down the next two soldiers who jumped out from cover to shoot her as she closed the gap between her and Alain. Turning she next saw a soldier leap at her from the corner of her eye with a knife. Ducking, the soldier sailed over her and landed on the floor as she shot the soldier who came out of cover behind him. The soldier who landed on the floor in front of her as she turned back to him, flipped himself over and was now looking up at Deirdre. He was about to swipe at her feet before she stomped on his crotch, the soldier's cry turning rather high pitched. She took the opportunity to just knock him out. They'd be long gone before he'd wake or even be able to stand up for that matter. "Let's go. XVI, should be in the next room."

Alain nodded as they moved towards the door. Dave was now in between the two. He still didn't want to fight alongside them, but he had somewhat gotten used to constant shooting and knew when to take cover and when it was safe. Alain held his hand up to have the others stay behind cover. He ran for the door and put a smallcharge to it, standing by against the wall next to it.
"Breaching." The charge blew, and a second later he was inside. Two shots were heard. "All clear."

Deirdre followed Alain in with Dave, throwing the assault rifle to the side. They had entered what looked like a private lab, where computers and screens flashed with information. Deirdre approached one and saw one was monitoring life signs. At the end of the room was a large glass cylinder filled with glowing green liquid. Inside was a human, boy. Looked young but lacked any identity of gender. Deirdre froze as she saw the large tattoo 'XVI' permanently stamped into the teenager's skin. "What... XVI is a kid?!" Deirdre sounded surprised and shocked. She had no warning of this. "You've got to be ki--" she was cut off as she felt a sudden wave of pain overcome her and she collapsed to the floor, choking in pain. "GAH!" she breathed heavily as she shivered. Rapture logged in through Alain's head set. "Whatever Enzo had stuck in her, I doubt she can recover quickly. You guys need to hurry."

Alain heard the words. "Got it." He pulled Deirdre up in a sitting position against the wall and walked to the controlscreen. There was one handle with a tag "disengage" above it. He pulled the lever down and watched as the green liquid was drained from the tank. Eventually, the glass rose, and Alain moved to catch the boy before he fell. He moved him away from the machines and put him up against the wall as well, quickly tearing some scientist's clothes of his body and gave them to the kid. "Dress." He had disabled his helmet as well, and now sent a friendly smile his way as to encourage him they were the good guys.
