She lets out a sigh, "I need to shower, but I can't"

“It’s okay, everyone stinks at one point.” Skylar yawns a bit

While Millerson was sitting on Skylar’s lap,he started to get tired. So without realizing it, he yawned and leaned against her gently and slightly dozed off.

Skylar smiled and ran her fingers through his hair soothingly.

"How am I gonna shower without a leg?"

“Someone will probably need to help you at first, but after a while, you’ll be able to do it yourself.” Skylar talked softly, trying not to wake Millerson.

She sighed softly "It's my fault that I got bitten"

“How so?” She looked at the girl.

"Because after zombies killed my parents, they were able to bite my leg when I stopped"

Drew heard the child's comment about showers and chuckled. "You did not want to see me ten minutes ago, kid. Besides, you have an excuse. Don't worry."

"Thank you" Said the child as she looks at her missing leg again.

Skylar sighed lightly “You get used to loosing people.” Skylar told the girl. Skylar moved so she was sitting on the floor, her back against the bed and she was facing the door. She held Millerson close and she closed her eyes.

"Well, I'll protect you"

“The other way around.” Skylar tiredly responded. “I’ll protect you. You’re only ten.” She yawned a little.

"But I was a warrior at the age of 5"

Drew cautiously walked closer to the rest of them, leaning tensely against the wall.

She looked at the man.

Back in Lily’s room, she was restlessly trying to sleep but she couldn’t because of a nightmare. She woke up letting out a small shriek. Her head shot around the room looking for Millerson. She ran out of the room and frantically looked around for him. She eventually found the room the room with Skylar and the others in it. When she saw Skylar holding Millerson. She slowly calmed down and smiled at the sight. She leaned against the wall outside the door and caught her breath.

“That doesn’t matter here. Again. You’re only 10” Skylar mumbled.

She stood up straight and gently knocked on the door, whispering,” Hey, you guys doing ok? Sorry if I’m intruding on anything.”
