Skylar looked at the man, then back at Rose. “Um hang on.” She turned back to the man. “Yes.” Skylar had full confidence that it could.

He nodded, still laying there in the middle of the hall, awkward.

Skylar eyes the black on his side. “You can go to your room if you’d like.. Do you want help getting there?”

Rose tries to stand up

He tried to get up but couldn't. "Unfortunately." He told her.

Skylar nodded, and helped the man to stand. “What’s your name?” She began to slowly help him to his room.

"Drew. Drew Howler." He informed her delicately, leaning against her. "Thank you, you tried to heal me. Most survivors would have kicked me out...if they didn't kill me first."

She smiled as she helped him. Skylar grunted as she shifted him so that all the weight was distributed. "You're part if the group, like it or not.. I'd do the same for the new guy that just joined.. Even if I don't trust em'. " She poked him gently. "You're sketchy... But you're welcome. " They made it to his room and she helped him onto his bed.

She sits in the hallway, waiting for Skylar

"Ah, I'm sorry. I don't try to be sketchy. It just happens." He smiled half-heartedly.

Skylar smiled back at him. “It’s fine.. We survive in different ways.” She glanced at the bandage, wondering when it would be done healing him. “Well, I’m going to go help Rose. I’ll be back in a few, Okay? Or if you want to be alone, that’s fine too.” She looked at Drew

Whispering into Drew's mind, the symbiote says weakly, "I heal you, you eat food. Much food, fast. Am weak. You hurt bad." The bandage twitches, reminding Drew of its presence.

Waking from his slumber, Rolen stretches and smiles. Again, he has survived the night... Or was it day? He seems to enjoy sleeping during the day, even though the others are awake. They don't bother him, and he doesn't bother them. He stands, and exits the room. Quietly, he moves to the showers, and takes a long, hot shower. So what if it uses up all the hot water? He deserves it.

Stepping out of the shower, he notices how dirty his clothes seem. He bundles them up, and wraps a towel around his waist. Even though he's a slender guy, he's got the muscles of a man used to hard labor. Rolen smiles into the mirror, noticing the not-so-new changes. The apocalypse had given him a new chance, and he wasn't gonna throw that away.

He walks out into the hallway, and searches for the laundry room. After a minute, he finds it, and begins a load of laundry. Having removed the contents from his pockets, and whoever's laundry that had been piled up alongside the machine, he smiles at his earnings. A pack of cigarettes, a few coins, and a few twigs. He snorts, and tosses the twigs aside.

He returns to his room, and grabs a lighter. Lots of walking around here, he tells himself. Better than handcuffs, and bars.

Rolen walks downstairs, and outside. Lighting a cigarette, he lifts it to his lips and breathes in deeply. No telling how long this pack will last. If he's careful, a good while. If all this stress doesn't somehow go away, maybe a week. The night is calm, silent even. He should have brought his axe, just in case. He quickly finishes his cigarette and goes inside. Sitting on a chair in the main room, he twiddles his thumbs.

Perhaps he should come up with a plan. The leader here doesn't know what she's doing, and everything they have now is because of luck. Luck ain't gonna get you far, he tells himself. Ain't no guards around here, an' we sure need 'm. He'll talk to her the next time he sees her.

Drew frowned at the bandage...thing. "But I just ate." He protested weakly at the thing.

"More.... please?" it asks, before changing its tone of voice. "Eat. Go outside. Eat!"

The symbiote curls inside his head, and begins to sift through his memories and thoughts.

"I am not going outside. I'm not suicidal." He growled.

Either too weak to force Drew outside, or surprised by the host's mental strength, the symbiote goes quiet. After a moment, it utters, "Food. Energy. Heal you. Fast."

He sighed. "What is this thing?" He asked Skylar. "I don't like it. It's quite annoying."
