She would carefully limp outside as she looked at the sky and she than started to sing. She was missing her leg and she's been with the group for a few weeks.

*matt saw her walk out and would walk towards her* hey are you wit them? *he nudged his head towards the group*

"Yea, they all saved my life" she said softly and she had trouble moving around with one leg

*matt looked at her leg* what happened?

"I was bitten, so they had to cut my leg off"

*matt pulled out a granola bar* here you look hungry... the CDC said that amputation had to be done within minutes of infection... that must've been one helluva doctor

"Yea" she said as she ate the granola bar

*matt continued* my task force leader captain Ramirez... he died from an IED explosion... not long after that the infection started and one by one each of my squad mates fell *he tried deepening his voice to try not to cry*

She rubs his cheek, "I lost my family to zombies"

*matt blushed and looked away* you know... there's no need to throw me a pity party... *matt reached into his bag and pulled out a manual that said "how to deal with a zombie apocalypse"* the CIA made these as example manuals not to be taken seriously bu to be honest this thing saved me a good few times

She falls on the ground

*matt quickly picks her up* are you ok?

She was out cold

*matt then gives her CPR* c'mon breathe dammit!! I cant lose someone else!!!

She coughs softly as she looks at him with blurry vision

thank god.. *he kisses her and then realizing what he did he jumps back and blushes *

Skylar shook her head, finally coming out of her space out. She remembered rolen moving his lips, but she hadn’t heard any words. Without worrying anyone, Skylar decided to just nod her head. Maybe her being a leader wasn’t what the group needed.. maybe they needed a more.... experienced person to handle them. Plus Skylar never signed up for any of this anyways- more the marrier, yet for Skylar, more seemed to be more stressful. With a sigh she grabbed her katana. “I’m going alone.” With that she walked off, ignoring any opposing responses.

Ember saw Skylar get up and followed her closely after quickly grabbing her sledgehammer. "Hey, hey dove- going alone isn't good and ya know that." , she said as she caught up with katana-wielding girl and matched her stride for stride. Ember held onto Skylar's arm and looked her dead in the eyes. "You know that."

“Yes. I know.” Skylar pulled her arm away and continued walking, making it outside. “If you’re that worried then you can come too.” She sighed. She looked away from Ember, and looked forward. Skylar didn’t know why she was upset, but she wanted to get out of that.. crowded house. She was heading toward the grocery store that wasn’t scavenged yet, but she knew it would take an hour or two, so she didn’t know why she was trying to get there any faster.
