The house was quiet when Rolen awoke from his nap. He looked around, it seemed that everyone was missing. He quickly stood, stumbling slightly. He ran down the hallways, checking each bedroom that wasn't locked. Not a single soul. He ran to the room in which they kept their food, and noticed a great deal of it was missing. Either the group had moved on, or something worse. He returned to the living room, and grabbed his axe. If someone was fooling around, he wasn't going to let that happen.

Foxy started to cry as she struggled to stand up

Curling in Drew's mind, the symbiote speaks softly. "They haven't followed us. That food will last us longer than you think, if we manage it right. Or we could sell some of what we're carrying to buy better food."

It seems to hesitate, before adding, "Or we could eat the dead. They taste fine, a bit chewy."

Rolen noticed the girl struggling outside, and dashed out of the house. He quickly picked her up, throwing her over one shoulder. "What made you think you could go outside? You've only got one leg! You're a liability, kid. You're going to get yourself or someone else killed." he rants, before noticing the tears on her face. His voice softens, and he adds, "You look sick. Let's get you inside, and check you out."

Drew had honestly forgotten about the symbiote. "Yeah, I've already tasted the dead. They taste surprisingly good but...it's just wrong. Cannibalism is never right." He murmured. "You think this place is safe?"

*matt noticed the seriousness in skylars voice but he had one last trick up his sleeve* well I guess you don’t want to have access to the nearby presidential bunker... *he wasn’t 100% sure what the code to get in was but he had a pretty good idea* besides your just opening yourself to walkers out here.. if you want me to go just say the word and I’ll take the hint also I’m a... *he paused as he had some flashbacks* former federal agent for N.E.T.R.U. The National Emergancy Tactical Response Unit

The symbiote chuckled, a nasty, gurgling sound. "Is it cannibalism if I am the one eating them?" it asks Drew, before adding, "And anywhere is safe, we can keep watch when the hossst sssleepsss."

"Alright then. Well, it is still cannibalism if it is being stored in my body. After all, I am the one who is controlling this sack of flesh, not you." He reminded the Symbiote icily.

Skylar glares at the man. “What you were doesn’t have any importance now.” She shifted. “I don’t even care if you were the president..” She added. “It’s different now. Former titles don’t prove anything. Now I suggest you get out of my way, or you’ll learn that talking to me wasn’t a very smart move.” She continued glaring are him, her mood worsening. Lately she’s been wanting to punch something.. maybe nows the time..

Ember watched from behind Skylar at the man who seemed to have come out of nowhere and started upsetting Skylar. She was rather confused about the whole situation but she knew it was probably a good idea to get Skylar away from the man before a fight starts and gets the attention of the undead. Ember gently nudged Skylar a little bit away from the man and whispered quietly to her, "Com'on dove- let's go before somethin' goes down." .

*matt walked away* guess that's a no then... *he walked a while before he clenched his stomach and collapsed it was a side effect of his secret enhancement surgeries it caused him to black out when he had a PTSD attack* (flashback starts) Ramirez: I heard you and senior agent rockismo have been talkin what's it about? matt: I can't say... *a mortar shell hits the ground not to far away from him and he watches Ramirez loose his arm* matt: RAMIREZ!!!!!!! *he started to stumble up and over the small trench like area that their outpost was in and walked less than 2 feet before an IED went off killing him instantly* matt: NOOOOOO!!!!!!! *he ran over and saw not Ramirez but a mess of blood and guts* (flashback ends) *still slightly unconscious matt continuously mumbles the word "Ramirez" in a dazed state too weak to move* ((btw he wasn't the president lol he had the code to enter his private fallout shelter and was going to let you stay there))

((I know. It wasn’t meant literally. Lol. It meant that she didn’t care what title anyone held, whether someone was a former president or a.. gardener. Lol))

Skylar walked off with Ember, confused by her own anger.

The symbiote had expected the sudden outburst, and had prepared a counter: ¨You are in control of your body, yes, but who is inside it? We may get hungry enough.... that liver of yoursss iss is beginning to look tassty." it hisses, before fading into silence.

"You eat my liver and I'll find a way to destroy you in the most painful way possible." He snapped, looking through what food he had found.

"S-sorry" she whimpered

Ember stayed close to Skylar to keep a close on her though she made sure not to brush against her to make sure that it wouldn't negatively effect her. The orange-head kept an eye out also for the man from time-to-time just in case he decided to sneak up on them again.

*matt woke up with a start and yelled* RAMIREZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *after realizing what had happened and the girl was gone he ran back to the bush to find foxy gone as well* dammit I cant keep losing people... *he clenched his gun and whispered* I will kill anyone who hurts her... (referring to foxy) *he then saw the building and ducked behind a windowsill and pointed his gun at the door listening to what was happening inside and waiting to shoot anyone that comes out*

The symbiote twists uneasily, not used to such actions from its host. It murmurs quietly, before suggesting, "What about hunting? We are good at hunting."
