backstory: The year is 2036, but nobody cares. There isn't anybody left who cares. The world burns in chaos as those defiant few that remain fight to survive. nobody knows how it all started though many myths have been spread, and false tales told. The dead have risen on this world once known as earth, but many more then the dead have risen as well. The corpses split, the bone reshaping and the muscle sculpting into demented constructs of flesh that hunger only for death. These creatures as well as the bloodthirsty bands of the insane plague those trying to survive.


Sypher walked down a ruble covered road as the hot sun beat down on him and his heavy backpack only forcing him to add to the effort to move. He walked towards a simple green house with a single crack on it's whit wood door. He knew, or rather he hoped, that there was still food inside it. Sypher carried a small 22. caliber rifle in his hands and a solid black handgun tucked in his belt under his green jacket. Down the street to his left was a park he had come to know well over the last few years, and to his right was a row of houses that he had managed to search though long ago. He stopped just before he opened the door and took a second to close his eyes and breath deeply, listening to the silence of the world around him, then he opened the door and stepped inside grateful for lack of constructs and walkers around him, and the grate numbers of them in the main city

As sypher walked into the house the silent world grew into a not so silent world as a large industrialized truck came roaring down the road. the truck was covered in large spikes , a large machine gun like object on the tail and a plow on the front , along with lights on the bottom and a bull horn on the top. As the truck came down the street it slowed down and the engines roar turned to a slight purr. as the truck rolled along it eventually came to a full stop and one of the doors kicked open. out came a teen girl no more than 17 with a black tank-top , camouflage baggy pants that are tucked into a pair of black combat boots. she also wore gloves that have spikes on the knuckles. all along her legs and hips she had belts and holsters for guns and knives , but in her left hand she carried a tomahawk . she slammed her door shut and looked around passing her tomahawk from hand to hand.

As sypher walked into the house his mind was pulled back into reality as he heard a loud engine. Quickly he slung his backpack off one arm and threw it to the side with the other, following behind it he ducked under a window next to the door and pulled the black pistol from his belt as he listened and prayed he wouldn't need to kill anybody today.

rain walked around a bit swinging her tomahawk in her head. she sniffed the air a bit as she walked then she looked directly at the hose sypher was in. She sniffed the air a bit more then proceeded up to the house. she walked in like nothing ,and again she sniffed the air. she then walked right past sypher into the kitchen where she stopped infront of a pantry. She paused a moment before placeing a hand on the door knob and gripping her tomahawk ,ready to attack anything.

She Swung open the door and the smell of death flooded the house as a alker jumped out at her ,but she imediantly swung her tomahawk into its head re-killing."okay" she said as she pulled her tomahawk out of the walkers skull causing the corpse to drop to the floor "let's see what they got here" she then began to rummage through the pantry to see what kinda food was still good. "hey!" she called out " Are you just gunna sit there and wonder if your gunna have to kill me ... or are you gunna grab some food before I take it all"

Sypher blinked, he doubted she was a threat, but it had been a long time since anybody hadn't been one. Unsure of what to say he stood up and walked over to her, his bright eyes studying her. He shifted his vision from the girl to the pantry and watched as she searched through the scraps of food left within it. He held his gun low but in his hand as he watched her "sypher." he muttered, still unsure of what to say as he eyed the food.

Rain didn't bother to look at sypher " i assume thats your name ,its an odd one but nice , mines rain, rain Histing." rain continued to rummage through the pantry untill she found a can of veanna sasuages " still good" she then threw the can in her bag and kept on rummaging.

sypher took a moment to think about his name before replying with a simple nod. He took a step back continued to watch her as she invaded his intended scrap pile. As he watched her his attention shifted back and forth between her gloves, her combat boots, and her holsters. After a moment he reached down into his jacket pocket and drew a small jar of honey and held it out.

Again rain didn't even have to look at Sypher " no thanks got twelve jars of honey in my truck" after another minuet of shuffling through the pantry she stepped back with a sigh " only one thing , guess you can have whatevers left , i've already got plenty of the rest of this stuff"

Sypher stuffed the jar back into his pocket and walked over to his backpack on the ground. As he picked it up he looked out the window at the truck outside. Still unsure of what to say he steped out of the house and walked over to examine the truck.

Rain finally bothered a glance at Sypher as she followed him to her truck where she opened the door and climbed in. She then slammed door shut and rolled down the window , "wanna join me?" she asked in a mono tone voice.

Sypher jumped with a childish glee as he ran to the passenger door and threw his pack inside. After thinking for a moment he looked at her, " thank you."

rain looked at sypher for a moment before locking the doors and turning the engine on. the sound was like a roaring lion , that as untill she hit a button that made the roar turn into a simple kittens purr. " now just sit there and be good got it , if you act in any way i don't like i will drop you out on the streets, got it"

Sypher nodded without looking at her as he unzipped his jacket and flipped out a micro-uzi from a harness around his chest. Quickly he unhooks it from his harness and lays it on his backpack and begins to search his backpack again.

rain sat silently as she drove down the road looking at random house's as she pasted untill she finnaly stopped the truck and got out with her tomahawk in hand, "stay here or come if you want"

Sypher swapped out the clip in his UZI for a fresh one from his pack and looked at her, " its empty." With that he hooked the UZI back into it's harness and zipped his jacket closed as he went back to digging through his backpack, " most houses are."
