Five days of walking through the forest had past when the man commonly known as "The walker" finally reached the flatlands of the Asiroth empire. They lay stretched out before, him, with many roads traversing them in all directions and crossing eachother at several points in view. Far on the horizon, he could see distant Ceven, the capital of the Asiroths. However, that place was not yet his goal for now. Right now, he was on his way to a village called Ocaek - a small fishing village on the shores of the empire's largest river: the Ranrae.
His unusual outfit attracted a lot of glances by passers-by. He was happy that his crystal sword needed to be summoned instead of carried - otherwise the shape if not the glow would certainly attract the interest of travelers who would dare attempt stealing it. He appeared unarmed aside from a dagger hanging from his belt. He wore a gown that was cut open in the front, so he could run fast without being obstructed by it. His mantle was pulled forward, hiding a set of hardleather armor underneath. He had pulled the hood way over his head to hide the markings on his forehead. The people in the Asiroth Empire were a suspicious lot, mostly due to the war with the elves. If he were caught with those markings, he might have to fight his way out. If the people weren't scared off just by seeing them, that is.
He entered the village and walked through the main street, which was also pretty much the only street. This village was basically built on the highway, with some pathways branching off to the houses hhidden behind the first ones. That's it, there was nothing more to it. Yet the place felt oddly familiar, as if he had passed through here in distant past.
He walked into an inn by the name of "The Red Bull". The place was as good as empty. Two guardsmen, both off-duty, were playing cards in a dark corner and a strongly built farmer was eating a rather large stew on his own in the center of the room. The Walker sighed and sat down in another dark corner, oposite in the room of where the guards were sitting, and hidden from view to any who came into the inn. They'd only see him upon turning around. When the man of the house came by his table he simply asked a beer. The man nodded and walked off again.

(I'm sorry it isn't that long of a reply. )
A man that looked well into his 30's walked into the inn, taking a look around inn quickly. He noticed that that man in the dark corner seemed familiar to him but then he noticed the two off-duty guardsmen. He walked over to the men and gave them a stern look that made them stop in the middle of their game. "You two need to get back to work before the Coast Guard see's you guys." The man said, his voice was rough and strong, clearly showing he had yelled out many commands before.
The man wore a Navy Uniform with a name tag that said "General Jason O'Brian". He had sandy blonde hair the was cut short like most in the military, and with grayish blue eyes to match.
The guardsmen stood up and nodded with a clear "Yes, sir." Form both of them as all three walked out of the inn, clearly busy with something. They were only here in Ocaek because they had to see if the rumors surrounding the place.

The walker noticed the man coming in. At first glance, he seemed to know about him, but however hard he tried to remember the man, not a single memory rose within his mind. Whatever locked his mind did a good job at it. he just watched the man. shortly after, his beer was brought. Walker thanked him and took a gulp of it.
The men stepped outside and Jason knew something was right. He kept having flashes of his earlier memories of when he was a kid and played with a younger friend of him. He noticed the guy he saw in the bar had some of the similar features as his old friend did, but it was very few and they were all small and hard to notice. There might have been more but he didn't have the time to get a better look at the guy. He needed to ask the citizens of the small town questions..
The walker, on his part, had no clue of who the man was or if he even was familiar. He just drank down his beer and got up. "Have you got a room left?" he asked the barkeep.
"Yeah, one at streetside."
"I'll take it." the man nodded and wrote it down. For now though, The cloaked stranger decided to take a walk, and went out the door to take a look around Ocaek

((mostly because my notifications are messing up ;o do you have an idea to get them to somehow get into a situation where they are forced to work together?))
((We can try having Jason run into The Walker and ask him questions about what has been happening around the town.))
The Walker had gotten out of the building and looked around. He planned to take a walk, but Ocaek was just one main street with houses along it. he figured he might as well walk through the neighbouring fields that belonged to the village as well. He walked through the street eastward and found an old church that had been getting neglected, a butcher's shop and a small blacksmith. He then left the village and crossed the river, going back west and walking on a path parallel to the village's main street.
