Hello!
I’m interested in doing some sort of Solarpunk roleplay! I just got really into that variety of -punk, and I’m really excited to explore it with someone else!
I have a few characters in mind, but since I’m posting this before I really get a chance to delve into them, I’ll have to go back and make a few.
I’m kind of interested in maybe a distant war or otherworldly contact with the characters on Earth (or anothe planet humans inhabited).
I’m very open to suggestions as of right now, so I’d love to hear people’s ideas! Thank you!

Plausible legends of ancient magic, but current magic is not common.
Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (generation ships)
Distant war may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat will likely be summarized, not played out in detail.

Of course! Solarpunk is a lot like cyber-/steampunk, but it's a lot less popular. It takes place in a future where solar power is the main source of power, if not the only source (like steampunk, where steam engines and whatnot are the main sources).
Solarpunk settings are very bright and colorful, and usually, I see a lot of the architecture being made with glass or a silver-colored material. There are a lot of plants all over the place, as well as animals (which could have a fantasy twist with new or unusual animals, too).

Ok. Let's see how we can make this a story. How about a war?
My character Lenore is a robot, so maybe she could be powered by the sun and thus be an example of the debate on A.I. and all that jazz. I don't know where your character'd come in, but there's a high chance Lenore ran away towards a brighter future, you know, trying to actually live out the Solarpunk dream.

I am relatively certain this is supposed to be sci fi but I saw you also mention fantasy as a possibility, I am wondering how that would be implemented firstly, and secondly I am curious what races you will allow. Is it kind of a human only deal or OC species are welcome?
