Tech strolls down the street with his hands in his black skinny jeans. He was at ease walking in the dark. It was something that calmed him. He wasn't a huge fan of the sun because when he was little he was kept in the dark. He hated it at first but he grew to love it with time. Tech sighed remebering the past. Metal bars, chains, steel cages and screeching. Hm. Don't miss that one bit... Tech remebers when he had broke out with a girl at age 13. The girls name was Alice. Alice Mayvile. Tech smiled dimmly at the sound of her name in his head then sighed.

Annabeth heard Tech wandering the street again in her usual perch. She had been listening him for a while now and he did this almost every night. Annabeth leaned so far off the branch that she ended up hanging upside down from her legs and tail. She giggled a little when she thought how she looked. She broke out laughing, imagining a kids scared face when Tech suddenly stopped feet away from her hiding place. She stiffened in fear as he looked around.

Tech heard a small twinkling laughter and paused. He searched the woods for any sign of anybody then started walking into the woods. "Hello?" He asked in a light voice.

Annabeth decided that she already revealed herself, so why not introduce herself too. She flipped off the branch right in-front of where Tech was standing and landed lightly on her feet. She focused on the sound of his heavy breathing and looked a little above his shoulder. "Hi, I'm Annabeth, but most people call me Freak." she said lightly.

Tech paused and looked at her for a moment then smiled and bend down on his knees. "Well Hello Annabeth. I'm Tech. Its a pleasure to meet you" He smiled and held out a hand.

Annabeth smiled and took his hand. He has a nice voice... she thought as she stared ahead. She giggled a little, "What are you doing out so late?" she said as a wide grin spread over her face. She shuffled her feet around a bit to know what the terrian is like. A little rocky, woods to the left lake somewhere 10ft into the woods, road 8ft forward she listed in her head.

Tech looked at her and rose an eyebrow. "I think the real question is why are you out so late?" He looked at the little girl with curious silverblue eyes wondering what is Annabeth doing out in the woods so late.

"I was listening to you walk." she said proudly. "Your very light on your feet, Normal people wouldn't be able to hear you unless they are walking right along side you, right?" she added in a matter-o-fact tone.

As Annabeth and Tech talked among each other there was a sudden loud crashing inside the forest , and the sound of a girls voice call out " CHESHIRE, CHESHIRE HELP MEEEE!" the girls sweet yet panicked voice turned from a yelling cry for help to a full blown scream of terror and another crash could be heard as well as another girls voice " ARIANA" the girl screamed " hanghgh" she tried to speak but immediateness her voice was muffled. and another scream came from the other girl.

Tech and Annabeth would not be able to see what was happening from where they stand , but they most certainly heard enough to know someone was in trouble , big trouble, and they needed help.

Annabeth's head turn so sharply you thought for sure it would snap clean off. She focused on where the sound was coming from and bolted towards the origin of the noise. She jumped over tree roots, and tried to dodge the branches. She was a really good runner for a blind girl. She finally came to where the noise was coming from. Annabeth walked gingerly to a tree and climbed it so she could see what was happening. She sniffed the air. Demons? Why are demons in this town? Unless...... she shook her head and looked at the scene below her.

The scene below was or a girl with white curly hair and scarlet red hair trying to get away from some kind of monster that looked like a man mixed with a lizard , but she couldnt get away because the lizard man held on to her weakest point , her pristine white 'wings'. No mtter how much she struggled she only cuzzed her self more pain.

Another girl with long black hair , and yellow cat like eyes ,was being held back by a nother man that looked like a human mixed with a dog , almost like a werewolf. he held her and she was conscious but she was not struggling , it was then that a strange stone could be seen in the wolf mans hand.

The two girls didn't appear human but they smelt half human , the men on the other hand had no traces of human left in them, they where pure smelling demons.

Annabeth could clearly see that both girls were in pain. She hopped down from her perch and lightly landed on her feet."Why don't you pick on someone of you own origin once in a while?" she called as she pulled her bow and arrow out. Her cat ears were perched up listening for the slightest of noises. She loaded her arrow and shot it at the advancing dog-demon trying to come at her from behind. It disintegrated into a pile of dust as soon as it made contact with it's skin. "I think weir evenly matched now." she said as she directed another arrow at the heart of the lizard beast as it turned to face her.

as the wolf man disappeared cheshire fell to the ground the stone falling next to her. she looked up at the stone with pain in her eyes. she slowly moved her arm up and hit the stone away. As she hit it she winced , but once it was away from her the color started to come back to her face and she stood up. She looked over at ariana then at the lizard man and finaly at Annabeth " naturaly i would ask who you were, but i don't have time for that". As she spoke cheshire slowly started to disappear and when she was completely gone she immediantly reappeared next to the man , but the strange thing was her hand was inside his chest. the mans shirt started to stain with blood as cheshire pulled her hand out. The man let go of Ariana's wing and cheshire caught her " are you okay cosmo" , Ariana gave a slow nod just as the lizard man colapsed

Annabeth heard the man disintegrate and directed her attention on the spot where she thought Cheshire and Cosmo were. The place stunk so much of demons and demonic magic Annabeth had to sit in the fetal position untill her head was cleared. The only reason I hate fighting demons, is the stench they leave behind. she thought as she struggled to remain conscious long enough to see if the two girls were ok. She listened with all her might for the regular breathing patterns of the two girls.
