In a world where monsters run rampant, nothing is safe. Shadows flock from the black heart of the forest, seeping into the terrain and spreading like a disease. Every day, the skies above seem to get just a shade darker, and the air seems to chill by just a few degrees. The inhabitants of the land can feel it, and they become just as baleful as the rest of the world. At night, unseen but nightmarish monsters spring like specters from the graveyards, from the clouds, from the forest itself; their true purpose, if there is one, is unknown. No one has seen anything like this before, and thus rumors and whispers circulate throughout the land, striking fear into the hearts of those who hear them. Is there any truth to these innumerable legends?
However, there are also a few mighty hunters (and huntresses) who emerge from the shadows. They are determined to make the macabre beasts know fear... and death. Borealis is one of these huntresses, but she can't do it alone. This is a task that requires more than one person's attention, and while the leaders and royals of the surrounding lands are searching for a way to pinpoint and destroy the monsters' place of origin, they are in desperate need of those willing to sacrifice everything and delve deeper into the forest. The forest that no one has ever emerged from. Why are the monsters so suddenly plaguing the land? Can they be stopped?

My poor Borealis here is feeling a bit unloved... All of the RPs I've been involved with lately have sort of died out. (Which is okay, I don't hold grudges.) Anyways, I'm looking for some players to help me work out a roleplay that suits her.
Things I'm Looking for in Players:
- Be Active-ish: A post once per week. Even better if it's sooner, though don't expect my replies to be as snappy.
- A Will to Build Worlds: It doesn't need to be politically detailed. Just some descriptions of setting and such.
Things I'm Looking for in the Story:
- A Fantasy/Mystery/Horror Genre: Some dark themes. Mainly psychological as opposed to gory.
- An Interesting Adventure: Uneasy alliances, questionable decisions, stuff like that.
Right. So, I'm only going to ask for one or two people here, otherwise I think I'd be a little overwhelmed. We all, however, would be able to play up to two characters at a time. I'm obviously leaving most of this up to debate, and I hope to flesh everything out via PM. If you're interested, please feel free to post below, and I'll message you!

As of yet, this is still open. However, I am currently conferring with my colleague to determine who exactly we want to take part in this. As of now, by showing interest in this post, you are implying that you are willing to work with TWO other people.

I didn't mention anything earlier because I was, at that time, searching only for one other person. However, this other person that I have found (my colleague) and I have discussed it, and we've decided that we'll be wanting one more person. Meaning that that other person would be working with both me and this colleague.
However, I regretfully inform you that another player has shown interest in this topic, and due to undisclosed reasoning (aka, he messaged first), we have found our final player. If you're interested in starting another RP with me, however, I would be completely willing to start something else... (I am a minor, though, and your settings are set so that I cannot message you therefore. If you wanna change them, or if you wanna start a topic on the RP Discussion forum, I'd be up for both.)
