Adventures can lead to a lot of different events, some good, some bad. But all in all most adventures usually carry one purpose: To prevent something that can lead to danger. And while that would normally be the case here, it is sadly not. The event has already past, devastation was practically the norm for the last 10 years, mass extinction was common and almost accepted by the end. Once glorious cities had been decimated, nations laying in the dust of their once proud history. Not even nature was spared from the wave of death, for what was once lush forests and wide grasslands now remain as either barren wastes or charred shells of what they once had been. The heroes that had once stood up against the threat had been forgotten following their failure and those who stood for it had too been swallowed by what they thought would of made them powerful and respected.

But alas, the worse is now over. The darkness has finally receded, the few who remain have started to claw their way back out of hiding. Currently morale is almost non-existent, looking at the husk of what used to be the world, some went mad just looking at it. Some of us have hope for a better future, perhaps by some miracle life may return to the dead forests and cities. No matter if all of this either ends in the final glimpse of hope ends in a sad flicker, or if it is possible to pull above and end up stronger than ever, no matter the ending, picking up the pieces of the past is the current goal.
