Feelin kinda mushy about ocs. I really wanna hear about some of yalls charas, so feel free to drop down a pic of them and some info, or their character profile.
There you go
I have like a bajillion characters so uh... what genres do you like best? lol
Oof...I just clicked on this on accident, but it looks interesting. What are y'all discussing?
OC characters? I've got quite a few of them.
Here's the one I like using the most.
And why not? Lol. That's all of them, though I'm thinking of making another one.
I have so many OCs, both fan characters and completely original characters, but I'll stick to the ones I've put up on RPR. That'll be one fan character and three original.
Ghaurug gro-Khazgur is probably my favorite fan character I've made for anything. He started out so small and insignificant, a red shirt in a fanfiction who died as soon as he was introduced, but then I worked back from there and now...well, he's still tiny for an orc, but he's way more than he was when I first named him. He's a vampire, an assassin. and a death cultist, but he also adores the culinary arts and he's generally amiable so long as you're not on his hit list. He's quite violent and definitely evil, but I love him anyway.
Next is Cchaaneh, an original character. They're a varsit, an alien species I created for my novel-in-progress, though they aren't a character in said novel: generally I play them as existing either in the future or in the past relative to when my novel takes place. Cchaaneh is a scientist first and foremost, and something of a radical with regards to the general attitudes and accepted knowledge of their people. They are a graduate student, taking a jaunt through the galaxy to gather research on the dynamics of multi-species environments for their thesis, which aims to challenge the traditional varsit xenophobia.
Mia is another original character, this time a young human girl. I've created a few different, not-exactly-canon versions of her to make her more usable in different kinds of roleplay. In her canon, she made a pact at the age of six with an emissary of an eldritch god from beyond the stars, trading her soul to become a magical girl in imitation of her favorite anime. Another version of her lives in a world with superpowers, and she discovered her ability to transform herself and transmute objects after surviving a supervillain attack when she was six. After nine years of attempting to master her control over her powers, she began sneaking out to play at being a superhero.
Finally, there's Kai Merrill. She's not from anything in particular, I just like vampires and wanted to make an all-purpose sort of vampire character. Her backstory is kind of bare-bones right now, since I've been busy preparing for final exams, but I've got some ideas in mind to flesh it out. Currently she's set up for modern fantasy, but I can adapt her to other genres without much trouble. She's a poor young woman living in a shady neighborhood, and unbeknownst to her, she was being stalked by a vampire for several months. He may or may not have been stalking her in the other sense in addition to stalking her as prey, I haven't decided yet. Either way, he fed on her multiple times and wiped her memory of the events, before finally she was turned. She's understandably terrified of the monster she's become, and the transition to undeath has taken a toll on her mental state. At the same time, when she feeds, she relishes the terror of her prey almost as much as she delights in the blood itself. Aside from the vampirism, she's got a rather punk/biker aesthetic going on, and she's a highly independent and hard-working woman. She's book-smart and street-smart, but not very people-smart.
I'm also thinking of putting one or two of my unused D&D characters on here, either for freeform or stat-and-dice roleplay. I've recently finished the character sheet of one of a pair of tiefling twins...

I feel like I should explain my characters now...
But I'ma just introduce my newest character. This is her. Name is Seraphina Clover. Daughter of Roman goddess of Fortune and luck. Fortuna.

I don't mind, so show me the oc you're most proud of/you like best
- One of my oldest OCs
- Originally when I made her (I was 12 or so) I was worried she was a Mary Sue, so I didn't use her very frequently. About 3 years later I developed her more, and she became much more of a negative person. When my characters get more developed they seem to become worse and worse people.
- I'm proud of this OC mostly because I feel she isn't a stereotypical shy girl, a character type that is difficult to make stand out, for me anyway.
- I don't think her picture really resembles her, so I'm still trying to better my art skills so I can draw something more accurate as a reference.
- to summarize Gwen, she is superstitious, shy, socially awkward, very cynical, and rather illogical/close minded. She isn't very emotional, but once she's been pushed past the point she becomes very upset and intensely emotional. She isn't violent however, as she is also a bit of a coward (doesn't want to get in trouble) -- and not the strongest person around.

My favorite OCs right now - the ones whose stories I’m most interested in telling - are these guys:
Zeugma - a robot/android who recently became sentient and who uses art to explore the world around him. I love his “family” and I’m thinking about them all the time right now.
Rho - a science-baby whose father raised her in the same house all her life before mysteriously disappearing. She has a “superpower” and I want to know more about her, but haven’t figured out all the details yet.
