Liv didn't recognize the guy that she had bumped into. He must be new. Her smile is friendly as she uses the palm of her hand to wipe the screen, swiping away any dirt that may have stuck to it in the fall. "I'm Olivia," Before she had the chance to say more when she's interrupted by a somewhat familiar face. Stan. Or was his name Steve? Steve, it was definitely Steve. The smile that had once been directed at Ryku now turned to the blond that had appeared at her side. "We're fine, everything's fine, like Ryker says," Oh no, that wasn't his name. Why did she have to be so bad with names?
Now that the two were alone, or as lone as they could get, Olivia had grown slightly nervous. She knew of the rumors, the true ones at that, that had been circling around about her and Garret and she just knew someone would bring it up. Of course it had to be Steve, the first person she would appearantly have an actual conversation with. And it didn't help that she found him to be rather attractive either, a detail she never noticed before which brought the slightest tinge of pink to her face.
"Yeah, we're done with," green eyes flit down to the floor at her feet, suddenly now interested in her shoes. Teeth tug at her bottom lip for a moment as she stares down before looking up, releasing it. Pushing past the hurt the smile takes her face once again, this time softer with her teeth hidden behind her lips. "I think I needed it though. He was-," The words are interrupted when she hears Erica calling her name and she turns to look back, grinning at the sight of her friends unruly black hair as she walks through the door. Turning back to Steve she takes a step back, a stray lock of red hair falling over her shoulder which is quickly flicked over to her back. "Sorry, I'm being paged," her smile turns apologetic and she raises her hand for a brief wave before turning and striding over to where her best friend stood.
"Already flirting with Stevie over there I see," Erica teases, her eyes moving to land on Steve momentarily before back to Olivia, crossing her arms and leaning back against the wall. "I thought you said you weren't looking for a guy?" Olivia laughs softly and rolls her eyes, stuffing both hands in her jeans pockets. "We weren't flirting and I'm not. Just having a nice conversation," her eyes move to land on him again before quickly pulling away once more, hoping he didn't see her looking. But why was she afraid he had? Now it's Erica's turn to roll her eyes, finding it hard to believe her. That wasn't flirting, was it? That was another thing she was bad at, deciphering flirting from just friendly conversation. Not that it mattered. With a sigh she turns her head to look out over the growing crowd, attempting to pick out familiar faces as well as new ones.

Steve smiled as Olivia told him her relationship was done, but he could see the pain for a moment in her eyes. When he heard Erica calling, he turned and gave her a slight wink. “Sure, I need to go play tour-guide anyway. Good talking Olivia. Maybe we catch up later.” He watched her walk away and checked out Erica as the two women started talking.
He also looked past them to someone who was walking over to the new student gathering. It was her! He quickly gave Erica a nod and headed over to pick his group to escort through the school.
The counsellor who made the announcement looked at Steve as he came up and he looked at Sarah and Emilio, a couple other seniors doing the escort. The students that gathered were dispersing into three groups, and Steve directed some of the freshman girls his way along with a couple other freshman guys. He came up to the girl he saw on his way in and said, “Hey walker, I see you made it.” He put this hand out offering her to be a part of his group. “Would you like to walk with us? I’m Steve, Steve Harrison.”
Steve was one of the more popular guys at the school, having done well in their sports program. He played basketball and he was a star of the track and field team. He would be playing football but he wanted time to concentrate on his Drama Club activities after school, so didn’t try out for the team. He was also single. He had dated Stacy Davis through most of his sophomore year and all through junior year until the last couple days. The break-up was quiet though, and many didn’t know about it. He did look for Stacy briefly, but it had been a long summer since they split, and he was over her.
He discreetly looked her over, and focused on her long dark hair that fell over her shoulders. He went on to say, “Haven’t seen you around before until today. Did you just move here?” Steve did make it a point to note the new people he would see in town. He would have surely remembered a pretty blue-eyed, dark-haired girl like this had he seen her around before today.

Jesse was following the crowd really, unsure where to go as the movement of everyone was chaotic. Friends would see friends and stop and turn, or someone would push by in a hurry to catch up with someone they knew. Guys were talking to guys, girls were talking to girls, guys were talking with girls, and some were on their phones talking to whoever.
When Jesse got to where she thought they were supposed to gather, he heard a voice... the same one from the car earlier. When he called her ‘walker’ she laughed slightly. She turned to him as he approached and smiled as he invited her to his group. She walked in as she came up beside him and he introduced himself. "I'm Jessica Saraiva, and yes, only been out here less than a week."
She offered her hand to shake his. She could see he was rather harmless. She was silly to not have taken up his offer for a ride. "You have quite the vintage ride Steve Harrison. Does it have an eight-track player in it?" She did her best to try and be herself, the girl she was at Samuel Adams High. She looked up to his off-blue eyes giving him a kind gentle flirty look with her deep blues.
She was new, she had an accent, and she knew how she was like when she saw new girls talking to the handsome guys. She expected someone to cut in at any time, but for now. she was enjoying this. "Is it too late to take you up on that offer for a ride?" She was putting it out there while she had his attention.

Continuing to stare into the crowd of students in both curiosity and a wistfulness, a look that immediately alerted Erica to who she was looking for. "Olivia, honey..." she sighs, a mahogany hand coming to a soft rest on her shoulder but Liv continues to search through the crowd. "Forget him. Garret's a liar and a sneak anyways. You need to look for someone else, someone better than him," she surged on, pulling her hand away while looking around them before retrieving a pack of cigarettes from the pocket of her backpack, hiding it and the lighter she pulled out underneath her long shirt sleeve. "You stay here, I need a quick smoke." Olivia payed no attention as she left, continuing to look through the crowd.
It wasn't like she was looking for him on purpose. This was something she did on a daily basis during the school hear, waiting against the wall, waiting, watching as he entered so they could hang out before class. And old habits does hard as they said. Now that it were just her and Erica she felt lost. Sure she loved her friend but she had also loved her other friends, the senior ones that had graduated the year before and her ex. But everything had changed and it seemed as if even more would change as well.

When Ryku was following the line the line split in three so he decided to pick one with a leader as a boy (Because he is more comfortable around boys) and he decided to follow the one on the far left which the leader was the guy who asked me if I was ok when I bumped into that girl* "Wow....There is alot of people here..." *When he looks at the leader of our group he is talking with a unfamiliar girls face...He hasn't seen before.....Before he could go ask who she was the line was moving again so he started to follow it again...* "I wonder who she was...." *After they got to the lunch area from the tour.... Ryku then heads up to the front of the line to greet himself to the two people but he didn't get there in time when they started moving again so he just forgot about it and held in the back of the line..Unnoticed...*
(Can I join? It wouldn't be the first time I got to school late. Lol)
(Hey wassup...and most likely you can join but Rn in the Rp it is oreintation day but for the creator of this Rp **Jessica Saraiva** Said that anyone could join at anytime even if it was late...! So most likely you can just jump right in so you can be added to the Rp..!!)
Allison takes a deep breath, looking herself over in the mirror. She knew she was going to be late to school, but what could one do without a family to wake them up on time? Her onyx curls cascade to the middle of her back and she had thrown on the first outfit in her closet. Which happened to be an off the shoulder floral print shirt and white shorts. Not that it was a bad outfit, she just wasn't sure if the shirt was her style. Still, she left it on, slipping on her white vans.
She makes it to the building, which proudly displayed the name of "Oakwood High School." She slides out of her white Audi, slinging her bag over one shoulder, and she eyes the building, which was currently silent, as all the students were most likely inside, registering for their classes. She looks at her phone...scratch that, they were probably at lunch.
She pulls the door open, accepting the cool air of the A/C as it blows her dark hair from her face. Her sea-green eyes scan the crowd of people and she plays with her trident necklace, a gift from her father which often gave her a sense of peace whenever she needed it. Her gaze darts around, finally focusing on a familiar face, one she'd seen just last night in a cemetery.
(Yes, I'm trying to slip myself into the group. Otherwise, I'll be standing by the door, scared out of my wits until someone decides to take pity on me. Lol)

((Awesome! Welcome Allison!
Trying to keep OOC to a minimum here. There’s an OOC thread in the RO discussion forum. I hope to post again but I’m at work so it may be tricky and likely short if I do))

Embarrassed, Dominique quickened her pace, trying to leave her brother behind, so no one would think she was actually related to him. But this wasn't possible. They had identical facial features, hair color, even the way they stood was the same.
Sighing, she spun on her heel to face him. "Why did you have to be so weird back there?," she huffed, shoving him. Seth stumbled before regaining his balance and giving her a charming grin. At least, it would be charming if it wasn't coming from her brother. "What? You mean talking to that nice girl? If it wasn't for me chatting her up, we'd probably still be wondering around in circles, looking for the office," he pointed out with a proud smile.
Dominique scoffed. "As if. You were flirting with her. Do you have to do that to everyone we meet?," she said, exasperated. After the long last few weeks of unpacking and getting situated in their new house, Seth had become rather insufferable. Her brother's smiled grew wider. "Well, if it wasn't for a certain someone losing her car privileges because of a wild party..."
"Shut up!," Dominique interrupted him. He just laughed and followed as she led the way in the direction the girl had pointed.
"So, in conclusion, I think you'll find belonging here at Oakwood High School," the principle said with a warm smile. While their back was turned, Dominique faked snoring, making her brother crack a smile before the principle turned back around with two folders in his hands.
"These have your schedules as well as the school handbook, cafeteria menu, and school calendar. I've also included maps of the school. I'm so sorry about not giving you a tour, but you're too late to join one of the tours because of our meeting, and Gabby, the girl I asked to show you around, couldn't make it to school today. She has the flu and won't return this week."
Just her luck. Now how was she supposed to find her classes? And the gym, for volleyball tryouts after school tomorrow? Dominique sighed, but put on a smile for the principle as they left the office to find their way around the school.
As they walked, Seth(of course) got distracted by another girl. This time a tall redhead. So Dominique was on her own. Trying to find her way, she turned her map this way and that, not about to admit to being lost. She could find her way again. Just a few minutes...
Suddenly, she crashed into someone, dropping the folder to the floor, which spilled its papers. She looked down at the spilled papers, a bit annoyed. She picked up a few and looked up at the person accusingly before giving up. Better not start a fight on her first day. Sighing, she pasted a smile on her face. "Sorry. Wasn't watching where I was going," she explained.
(Anyone want to be the person she bumped into? If not, I can just try to find some other way to jump in...)

Olekat gave a brisk nod to Emerald and excused herself from the bathroom, makeup done.
Olekat headed in the direction of one of her classes to refamiliarize herself with the teacher. She found herself getting caught up in her own thoughts, about her friend and the upcoming school year. The work load was increasing, of course, and this year she wasn’t sure she would be able to handle it. She felt a mild surge of nausea. This was when she collided with someone.
“My apologizes,” she said automatically, stooping down to help them gather her things. She glanced up and sucked in a breath, eyeing the girl. “I—I don’t recognize you,” she said, silently cursing herself for the stumble. “Would you happen to be new?”

Once Dominique had all her papers back, she nodded, surprised this girl knew as soon as she saw her. Were there not that many students here?
"How'd you know?," she asked. "I didn't look that confused and helpless, did I?," she said with a smile.

Allison, hearing the conversation from where she stood, looks over, curious. At the one girl's question, she can't help but blurt out an answer: "Nah. I just think we new people have a distinctive look. Lost." Then she shakes her head, cursing herself for jumping into the conversation.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to barge in like that." She mutters, dropping her gaze to the floor and rubbing the back of her neck.

While Ryku was walking down the hall with the tour...It finally ended with us meeting all together and then we split ways to see if everyone memorized where everything was..* "So...That's chemistry....that's algebra.." *And he memorizes everything to the gym* "Wait...was this engineering..or was it rocket club...." *He then just gives up and walks back* *While he was passing the cafeteria, he saw some people talking to one girl iv'e never seen before, but he quickly puts on his hood and looks down while he passes so he wont be called out since he is always embarrassed with talking to girls, new girls, or if i'm just showing around, his words always skip.. or stumble..and he can never talk correctly unless he tries hard enough*
Steve let his eyes wander over Jessica as he took her hand. “Welcome to Oakwood! And yes, you can still have a ride. Here’s my cell number." he handed her a small card. "Call or text when you’re ready for a ride. Come on, let’s walk this.”
He waved his group along and he showed them the old wing. “Oakwood is a relatively old school, having its roots as a one room barn back in 1889. In 1911, a new brick building was constructed, replacing the old wood school. This area, called the old wing, is that original brick building.. It currently houses the Science and Language Arts cirriculum."
Steve led them down a narrow, awkward hall that seemed more like a giant duct that led to a stairway that dropped down a level to the library. Once everyone got out of the stairway, he turned and said. “That was only one of many odd places in this school. Whenever they ran out of classroom space, they would build another section. The last section to be built was the east wing where your math, business, and social studies. The east wing was completed in 1989. Because it wasn’t planned, the various additions were tacked in to the existing structure, making for some interestingly odd places and passages.”
He then brought them to the auditorium. He paused there and looked at the students. He caught eyes with that boy… Ryku was his name... and said, “This is one of my favourite places.” He turned and looked over to Jessica and went on. “The Drama club, of which I am part, puts on several plays throughout the year.” He looked at the others to engage everyone. “If any of you are interested in live theatre, the club meets Tuesday nights after school, except on weeks before a presentation. Then we meet on Tuesday and Wednesday as well.” He walked them along the back, proud of giving a plug for something he was passionate about. They took a break in the student lounge before they went to the applied arts building before ending up in the cafeteria.
“That is about as good as I can do. In the firs few days I recommend picking a home point and use it as a base to explore the more obscure places of this school He set them free and then turned to look around. Steve thought he saw someone he met the night before. He saw Allison over near another girl who he didn’t recognise so he walked over. He looked at a small athletically fit girl (Dominique) and said, “Hello. Welcome to Oakwood!” with a smile and a nod. He then looked over to Allison. “Hi. I was hoping to see you here today! How are you?” He turned his head back to the other girl and went on, “You ladies missed my little tour.”

Steve friend Dave had loitered about, liking Steve’s explanation as to why he did a tour. His six feet-six inch frame was hard to miss, and his dark eyes and dark curly hair of his mixed heritage gave him an exotic look that was rather attractive. He was the star center of the basketball team, and he was the highest points scorer three years running. In those years he always had Steve Harrison to his right as forward. They have been ‘bro’s since seventh grade. He saw Steve with a few girls and he quietly walked up. Steve gave him a quick fistbump, and said, “This is Dave… shit, I’ve known you for five years and I still can’t pronounce your last name. I was just welcoming these ladies to Oakwood.”

Allison looks up at Steve, adjusting her bag, "I'm...better than I was last night. I can definitely say that." She chuckles softly, shaking her head. "I woke up late, that's why I missed your tour. And now I've got to get registered for my classes." Something she'd been anticipating and dreading with equal amounts.
She looks around for a bit, before blushing slightly, "Does anyone know where I have to go to do so?" She looks back at the group, her expression a bit sheepish, before she notices the new face and allows her eyes to linger on his features. Her eyes light up with curiosity and she brings her sea-green eyes to his dark ones, slightly overwhelmed. Never before had she seen so many attractive people in one place, herself being the exception. She didn't consider herself pretty or even slightly attractive, though many people tended to give her compliments, none of which she took to heart.
