The apocalypse is upon us. The lab failed. They knew they would fail. They tried to make the most elite soldiers and they screwed up. They screwed up bad.

It is the year 3805, and the world is in shambles. Disease travels through the water, infecting the brain with a parasite that slowly dissolves it, leaving just enough brain matter that it can cause the body to still stumble about for weeks after infection before it finally dies a true death. Most tried to outrun the parasite, but they ultimately fell to their knees. The few still living fight hard each and every day to survive.
They look towards the few who work towards the cure, follow them in a small mob. Most take shelter in an old hospital they have dubbed the Tutum, but some hide away in cabins, just waiting and waiting and waiting for the cure to be finished before it is too late.

WILL THEY SUCCEED, OR WILL HUMANITY BE WIPED OUT...FOREVER?

RULES

1. This is a small group. Basically, I looked for certain people professing interest. So, it may be unlikely that others that haven't seen that post will be accepted. Sorry!

2. Psycho reserves the right to turn anyone away if she dislikes their character greatly.

3. No OP Characters

4. No Mary/Gary Sues

5. Don’t TableTop, aka, DON’T TELEPORT TO WHERE THE ACTION IS AT

6. Do NOT God Mod

7. Psycho is the god here. They are SUPREME RULER. Listen to them!

8. Fill out the FORM. SERIOUSLY. I LIKE TO HAVE A LIST OF ROLEPLAYERS!

9. Don’t just jump straight in. Psycho will accept you...sometimes, unless they choose somebody else to do that for them.

10. You can cuss, but don’t use degrading words that can be considered insulting to a certain group of people.

11. Only use a human character, unless the RP allows for something other than human!

12. No massive drama without my permission. More minor drama is alright though.

13. Thou shalt not kill without the permission of the roleplayer they are killing. Also, venison is an exception to this rule.

14. Only minor, fluffy romance like hugs and cheek/forehead kisses. I prefer if I see absolutely no BLACKOUTS. I mean, you’re on one of my plots. Literally, all of my plots are violent.

15. Be semi-lit. Or literate. Honestly, as long as you aren’t using ** to RP

16. Give the others something to work with. That mostly means absolutely NO one-liners.

17. Give me a heads-up when you'll be gone for awhile!

18. Have fun, my lil band of idiots! I love you all!

Why do you want to join this RP? - I'm trying my hand at different types of RP's, particularly because I want to grow and mature as a writer, as much as I can. This RP happened to catch my attention.

(I'm dumb, of course I have a link. It's right there. Duh. Get it together, Zoe.)

Drew narrowed his eyes. The apocalypse had begun, yet he had no place to hide. He instead covered himself in gore, hoping the zombies thought of him as himself. He staggered, groaned, once even forced himself to eat with them. He hoped he found a way out soon, or at least that no survivors would attempt to kill him.

He had been with them for several days now, had been scratched by then. He hoped none of the zombies had bitten him. He couldn't tell, he honestly could not.

Victorie Daniels day started off terribly. For a full minute after she'd awoken from her sleep, she'd forgotten that nothing was the same. She'd been forced to come to terms with the fact that she was no longer some innocent human being. She had blood on her hands. Zombie blood, yes...but blood nonetheless.

She flinches as she hears the snap of a branch nearby, rolling to her feet and unsheathing her twin daggers as she does so. She looks around warily, dark eyes scanning for any sign of movement-human and inhuman alike.

Drew could tell that the zombies had caught the scent of something. And it was another survivor, he felt mighty bad for them. This wasn't a massive horde, but there was a good hundred zombies alongside him, chasing after threads of a scent, thinking only of eating.

Victorie curses silently as she hears the sound of the hungry zombies. She slings her pack over her shoulder, gripping her daggers tightly as she takes off, darting through the trees like the former track star she was. She leaps over a fallen branch, and an idea enters her mind. Almost before she decides to, she'd scrambled up the trees, moving from tree to tree, sort of like Rue in the Hunger Games.
