Vanessa was in the back of her limo when it pulled up to an apartment in a middle-class neighborhood. He looked around amused at the children playing, the people walking their dogs, and the chalk on the sidewalk. She stepped out after the driver opened the door with her butler already outside holding an umbrella above her head. \"No thank you, Sebastian. You know I like the sun light.\" She said while chuckling. Sebastian smiled and folded the umbrella up. She stretched and smoothed her dress in the front before walking to the door. Before she could ring the bell the door had already opened and a woman in a pant suit with a briefcase walked out. \"Oh how lovely, it can be a surprise!\" Vanessa said clamping her hands together. Sebastian held the door open for her as she walked in. She walked to the elevator and Sebastian pressed the button. When they walked out of the elevator Vanessa looked around confused. \"This way, M'Lady\" Sebastian said gesturing to a door. Vanessa curtseyed to her butler and walked up to the door. \"Well, this is it.\" She said nervously. She let out a small squeal of excitement before knocking on the door. The door of her long lost brother Victor.
Victor ha just finished putting his suit on for work when he heard the door bell ring to his apartment. He raised a bright red eyebrow then went to the door. He looked through the peep whole of it to see a woman with bright red hair and sparkling green eyes in a golden and black dress. He opened the door, a look of surprise and confusion on his face. "Can I help you, ma'am?" He could sense the light magic she knew on her, and he wanted to get away form her but something seemed familiar to him about her. "Have we met before, ma'am?" He asked bluntly.
A tear dropped from her eye and she couldn't say anything. Sebastian cleared his throat snapping her back to reality. "Thank you Sebastian," she said after soothing her dress. "Possibly. I am Lady Vanessa of the White estate. Would you happen to be Victor Smith? An orphan child from Ireland?"
Victor nodded. "I am Victor Smith. Is there something you want Lady Vanessa?" He asked her, clearly confused as to what she was getting at. Smith was a very popular name, so he didn't think she would think he was her brother. He had remembered a long time ago about hearing that he had a twin sister but he still didn't believe it.
"Vanessa will do fine thank you." Vanessa looked back at Sebastian who was giving the thumbs up sign. "I am your long lost sister." She said before going in to shake his hand. Before she could reach it he hand was repelled by an evil source. "Shadow magic" she whispered to himself so low that almost she couldn't understand herself. She shook the thought out of her head. "Did i catch you at a wrong time?"
Victor was surprised by the news but he didn't show any of it, he knew that when she came close to his hand, she would sense the shadow magic he possessed. "Not at all, I was just getting ready for work but I believe you might be wrong, Vanessa. I don't have a sister, and was told some foolish lie that I had one but was soon told she had died with my parents." He had lied about the part of being told she was dead. He fixed his left sleeve, slightly showing his birthmark in the process. "I'm sorry to disappoint you, ma'am."
(( OCC: Genius, i almost forgot the birthmark ))
Vanessa smiled and looked at him. She took off the velvet laced glove on her left hand revealing her birthmark. "Would the suffice for proof?"

((OOC: That's why I made them have one. ))
Victor now was completely taken of guard by the girl having the same birthmark as him. He knew now that she wasn't giving up with out a fight that he was her long lost brother. He sighed and moved out of the way of the door, letting her in. "Come on in, seeing as you truly believe that I am your brother."

Vanessa wiped her feet before walking in, but no dirt was on her shoes, she was never dirty, or even even sweat for that matter. She walked in and Sebastian followed close behind. "What a....lovely place." She said like it was a question. She was used to seven story mansions.
Victor lived in a rather larger than most apartment. The walls were painted black but the furiantent was bright white, clearly they had never been stained. "Thank you, it really isn't much." He said as he closed the door behind them.
Vanessa sat down but Sebastian stood in the corner. "So I'm sure this may take a while to adjust to, but yes, we are blood." She said with a small smile. She looked around the dark apartment, slightly uncomfortable. She wasn't used to such a dark place, everything she had was bright, the dress she wore today was the only thing black she owned besides her gloves. "So do you buy or rent?" She said nervously while she rubbed her birthmark gently.
"Buy." He said as he sat down on a chair opposite of the couch. He was still very skeptical about her. "Tell me, Vanessa, what reason do you have to come and find me? You know nothing of who I am." He really doubted that she went and researched him and try to see what he is like. She wouldn't have found anything, he likes to stay off the radar of the people of the internet.
Vanessa blushed. "Well your a part of me aren't you?" She kept smiling. "What more could you want than the gift of life? A sibling?"
Victor shrugged. "What about one that is the complete opposite of you?" He smirked, knowing she would be surprised to see that he knew she knew light magic. "Seeing as you know the opposite magic form mine."
Vanessa's smile dimmed, but you could see she was still happy. "When i went to shake your hand i could tell." She held out her hand to her side like she was a waitress carrying a tray. A small ball of light appeared in her hand that looked like a tiny sun if you were looking at it from earth. Sebastian clapped silently in the corner an nodded his head. "I can create it, change its color, bend it, create holograms, or even take light away completely, but that's where you come in isn't it?" She giggled. The small "sun" divided into 3 smaller ones and started swirling around each other in the same pattern used to braid hair. "I've always been afraid of the dark." She said sounding a little sad. "When i discovered my power I didn't have to worry about that any more." She shivered slightly but her hand stayed in place to keep the balls from going haywire.
Victor looked at the balls of light as if they were nothing. He lifted his hand and moved his fingers. Soon dark cloud consumed the balls of light, making the light disappear. The shadow came over to him and blended back into the darkness of Victor's shadow. "I can use my shadows to remove all forms of light, blend me into a shadow, even in bright daylight, and suck the light of human soul, leaving it dark and dead. Darkness can be frighten, if you don't know how to control it properly."
The balls came back to Vanessa hand in a bright glow. Vanessa looked her brother in the eyes as her power floated over to his shadow and started shinning brighter. His shadow started to looking cloudy and started rising and disappearing like it was evaporating until it was gone completely. "It seems we share powers, just in the opposite form." She lowered her hand and the balls of light flashed away, returning Victors shadow. Sebastian looked at the twins like this was a everyday thing. "The light from a human soul is not for me to take, and I never plan to. In fact, I'm not even sure if I can. But what I know I can do is heal the corrupted. You see, sometimes people aren't evil, their souls are just a little cloudy, but I can feed light into their hearts and purify them. It's very easy to do on spirits which I'm sure you know." She smoothed her dress again and tossed her hair behind her neck. She stood up and waved her hand in front of her face outwards once. The color of the walla changed color. They turned yellow with a white tint. She looked at her brother. "Color is seen by objects absorbing all light, and reflecting the color it shows. Since I control light, i can control the colors that are absorbed by the object, and reflected." She smiled at her brother, hoping he would be proud of his baby sister's mastery over her powers.
It was clear how little Vanessa knew of her brother. He was never impressed. "I see. It is good you have learned magic of some form but you should know that darkness is a powerful think. If it isn't controlled right, it can kill the master that once controlled it." He smirked, knowing that would most likely shock her. "But I have learned form many years of practice how to control this strange power posses."
Vanessa say back down. Her smile faded but she was still obviously happy. "Anyway, I guess we should get to know each other? Umm....~where to start~.......OH! What do you do for a living? I'm a model." Vanessa looked at the time and suddenly realized she had a photo shoot to go to today, but it was several hours later. She had just enough time to finish talking before leaving.
