Cylene struggled through the underground halls of the facility. The alarm signal was echoing through the hidden buildings, in response to Cylene's actions. Her newly attached metal arm was dragging her down, and she was still unable to move it except for the fingers. The lower part of her face along with her left eye had been completely wrapped in bandages, the only skin that was visible there was her right eye, upper cheek and forehead. Another struggle with a guard had ended up with her winning, but not without suffering a blow to the head above her right eye. It was bleeding, and she had to constantly wipe her forehead to prevent the blood from running into the only eye she could still see with.
For the first time since she woke up again in the facility, three days before the surgeries, she had gotten a chance to escape. She knew her left arm didn't function yet, but it was exactly because of that, that the scientists had lowered their guard, giving her a fighting chance.
The power of hope got her to move quickly. She knocked a guard unconscious and disarmed him. By the time they noticed her absence, she was already gone from the room.
The corridor she was in ended up into a main hallway. At the end was a giant iron door. There was a lever next to it and had "EXIT-01". She smiled slightly, and tears of joy ran down her cheek to mix with the tears of despair and fear. She pulled the lever and the gate opened. She stumbled outside into an entrance area. It was basically a huge parking lot with trucks and cars of variable types and sizes.
She walked out, but a lone security guard spotted her.
"Hey! You!" he yelled. "Stop it right there!" he was walking towards the girl with a fast pace. She attempted to aim her gun but fell to her knees, scraping them onto the asphalt.
She sobbed softly. "please..." she muttered. "Someone help me..."

The vents were cold and cramped, it was not until he was exactly above both of them was until he heard the guard and her confront each other. Jaiden knew this wasn't going to end well and since she looked all bandaged up she had little to no chance indeed.
"Every bone in my body is saying no... but i have to..." he rolled his eyes in and irritated manner before pushing the vent open quietly "Mission underway, momentary pause" he said into his earpiece, a glass like HUD appeared in front of his left eye as he hung above them upside down like a monkey. *Snap*... the guards neck was broken with one single motion.
He dropped down besides her "Hey? are you okay" he said placing a hand over her shoulder as kneeled down besides her.

Cylene saw the man drop, and it didn't get through to her that he was dead. Suddenly, she felt a hand on her right shoulder, and immediately fella side, scared that another guard had more in store for her. She crawled away from Jaiden, and with some effort, aimed the gun at him. She was shaking heavily though, every stupid man could see that. Even if she did fire, she'd only miss him.
Jaiden stepped back and tried to reassure her that she was fine "hey, don't shoot, i just helped you. My name's... Sam. what's yours?" a small white lie to ease her. He was a spy so it'd be stupid to tell her his real name.
"I'll help you out of here but i just need you to trust me... there aren't many people you can trust, i know that but you sure as hell can't trust people from here..." he gave her a reassuring smile before he got a call on his ear piece. "Stay right here" he said to her backing away. "Yo, what's up?" he asked chuckling but his face soon dropped and so did his expression... "So?" he asked as he spoke into the ear piece, something was wrong "That's not what i was briefed..." he glimpsed at her before turning his back to her "that's murder... you're threatening me?... i guess this is my last assignment... goodbye Hudson" he pressed a button on his ear piece before turning back to her "We need to go... this place is not where we want to be right now..."

When Jaiden stepped back slightly and told her his name, he sounded friendly enough... Almost. Cylene still had his issues with the man's sudden appearance, and her gun didn't drop down, even though her one visible eye visibly relaxed, almost even softened.
After apologizing, the man stepped away for a bit, Cylene grew suspicious of him again, and her eyes narrowed slightly. She then heard her say "murder", and was immediately alarmed. Is he getting instructions to... Kill me? But why? She remained utterly quiet, not even once saying anything. She grabbed a support beam behind her and pulled herself onto her feet. Her left arm pulled her down again, and almost caused her now weakened knees to give way. almost. The thing was still covered in bandages though, as was all the rest of her body. She probably looked close to a mummy, stripped of her clothes and covered up with bandages and strappings, her surgery still concealed from view. The arm swaying at her left side though, was obviously a problem, even though it wasn't visible exactly why it was a problem. She turned away from Jaiden and started limping towards the gates.

Jaiden saw her limp away to the gates "Hey, i said wait. in that condition you won't make it anywhere, let me help you" he said getting in her way. "I can swear on my life that i will not hurt you, i did help you back there" he said looking at the dead guard "Poor bastard... this was supposed to be an extaction mission with 0 casualties"
Cylene glared at him, even though she grimaced at the same time due to the stinging pain in her knees. She still didn't reply though, and just walked past him, holding on to the bars of the mian gate when she arrived there. Locked. Great. She sighed as she looked it over. It was a strong gate. Not full plated, but it'd hold quite some force before it would break. For a split second she looked at Jaiden, but then started limping around again, searching for a weak spot.
Jaiden sat on the floor looking at her "looking for a way to open the Door?" He Smirked a little "found a weak point perhaps?"
Cylene glared at him once again. She angrily tried twitching her left hand's fingers, adn to her surprise, the limp arm moved! Even though it was only a nudge. It encouraged her though. She'd be able to use her arm again soon... Or what was left of it. She hadn't dared to take off the bandages yet, and thus didn't know what the white cloth was hiding from her. She only knew that she couldn't feel through her entire left arm and that it wait incredibly heavy.
She found a control cabin for the gate and just started pulling levers. Pushing buttons didn't seem like a good idea, alarms are usually triggered by buttons. Finally, witha loud creaking sound, the Iron door started to open bit by bit.

"bad move" he whispered, an alarm went off indicating that there were definitely guards arriving "we need to move!" but the Speed Of the gate was too Slow... "damn it!, We're going to have to make a stand!"
"We have intruders" suddenly the speakers went off "intruders, halt let the Prisoner go!" both Cylene and Jaiden were being monitored via security cameras "here!" he tossed her a gun. ''Just point and shoot!"

Cylene caught it. For a, moment she was confused, but then huddled behind a wall as the first bullets came flying by. She repeatedly shot out from behind cover, but never even aimed properly. As a result, she hit cars more often than men, setting off more and more car alarms in the process. Eventually she just stopped shooting, clenching the gun in both hands as she looked at it. She closed her eyes as she listened to the sound of the men getting closer.
Jaiden threw himself over a car and shot at the Men "C'mon! open faster!" he yelled watching the men fell after being shot. he saw her shooting cars ''Aim and shoot!" he yelled over the gun fire.
Eventually the gates were open a crack high enough for her to squeeze through
''UNDER NOW!" Jaiden ordered her as he provided covering fire.

Cylene got up and started running..
..until a sharp pain shot through her body. A bullet had found her running figure and buried itself in her head. The force of the blow smashed her down to the ground, halfway through the gate. She lay there, very still as the guards approached. Blood was appearing around her, but not exageratedly so. Surprisingly enough.

"NO!..." Jaiden leaped over the car and shot at approaching guards. Once he got to her he grabbed her from her clothing then pulled her behind cover, it was like trying to move a tank. It seemed their chance for escape had passed and they'd need to find another way out. The guards would definitely be on high alert and very trigger happy.
not noticing she was hit in the head until he looked at her closely he saw a bullet had hit her in the head "Damn it!..." he slammed his fist on the ground and looked down at her with anger.

Cylene had her eyes still wide open. I'm still alive? But why is that I can't move? She tried moving around but nothing responded, not even here eyes.
Out of the corner of her eye though, she did see a guard approaching. Come one body... Work! Suddenly a shock ripple through her, as if an lightning bolt hit her. She screamed for a second, then without thinking twice lifted her arm with the pistol to the right and shot and killed the approaching guard. Not knowing what happened to him, the man just fell down.
Cylene pushed herself up as well and looked around, dazed and with a terrible headache. The bullet was still stuck in her skull and it was definately still bleeding. Her vision was blurry as she attempted to wipe here eye clear again.

Jaiden stumbled backwards and looked over his shoulder at the dead guard... "You just... He just..." his eyes wide open as he held his gun out at her "What the Hell are you!?" he asked as he walked back into a wall. His eyes fixed on her "you should be dead... What's under the bandages?!"
Cylene trembled all over. "I... I don't know..." She lost grip of the gun and it fell harmlessly to the ground. Even the other guards who were still looking at the duo were terrified. After all, a girl they'd thought dead just shot their friend... They backed off slightly, unsure what to do.
Cylene stumbled backward from Jaiden, afraid he'd rip the bandages off to find out about what he'd ask. "D-don't touch me." she told him, unsure of her position. She didn't even know what was going on herself.

"WHAT'RE YOU WAITING FOR!?" asked the lieutenant of the armed men "SHOOT THEM!" he yelled. Jaiden's attention turned quickly to them and he unloaded his bullets in their direction as they did the same. Jaiden grabbed her by the human arm and pulled her down the corridors in hopes of losing them. "There's no time for this..." he yelled back at her "let's try not to get shot" he shouted over the bombardment of bullets that flew past them.
Cylene yelped slightlya s he pulled her into the corridor. "Let me go.." she struggled weakly, but didn't manage to break free. When they disappeared behind the corner, the shooting stopped and she heard running: the guards were following them. They had to find a way out, and fast.
