The the forest was cold and damp... mostly lonely... he was an outcast once more... even though he thought he was able to settle down for sure. He sat by the fire and watched the flames dance, the cool breeze against his skin and the stars flickered above him "If i could have a wish... it'd be... to have died back then..." a tear escaped his left eye and glistened under the starry night sky

Angel lied back and stared at the sky and just then, a shooting star cut through the black sky. the sight was so beautiful it felt like an angel had flown past.

Aylexia had ventured out into the forest keeping in mind there were many dangers within it, but she needed to escape from the town she had thought was her home. Tucking her wings tightly against her back; making sure her ebony hair covered any sign of them. She wanted to be normal and wanted everyone to think of her as it. Though she knew deep down she was just another outcast.

Aylexia stumbled across the fallen branches until she saw some sort of light. "Is someone else here?" She muttered to herself hugging her own body for warmth. She continuted to make her way through the thick brush now knowing the way she was headed. The light or fire, or whatever it was.

Angel lay by the fire, staring at the stars. He would do that every night. He never slept for days on end but he always stare at the stars for hours.

A cracking noise caught his attention and he was quick on his feet. Like an animal he snarled in the direction of the noise "who is it!?" His hair streamlined just like the fur of a wolf "if you're here to hunt me then I won't go down without a fight..." The earphones around his neck the ex turned red and so did the arrow tattoo that spiralled down his left arm ending his palm, the tattoo lit up beautiful orange and yellow flames. His skin was fine however.

Aylexia released a long dull sigh. Her breathing had became heavier as she struggled to get through most of the brush as it was hard to see through the thick darkness of the night. Seeing she was only a maybe ten or so feet from the light source she jumped as she heard a male voice shouting out into the air. "What does he mean by hunt him?" She whispered raising an eyebrow confused.

She made her way till she was perhaps a couple feet from the light. "A fire." She said pushing a tree branch out of her way. As she took a step out into the clearing her foot got caught in some kind of root and she fell forward landing with a thump. "Ow" She winced pulling herself into a sitting position looking over at the fire she saw a tall dark shadow. "Did it hear me?" She asked rubbing her ankle.

Angel could smell her, her scent wasn't hard to miss and it wasn't familiar "hello?" He asked in a slightly friendlier tone this time. "Come out, I won't attack if you don't" he chuckled. Angel held out his hand making a ball of fire appear lighting up the darkness that she hid in then approached her, his guard still up but he was friendly.his headphones played a soft slow song "lullaby - one republic"

Finally see who it was he kneeled down besides her and let the ball of fire float to provide them with heat and light "are you okay?" He asked

Aylexia looked up at the stranger then glancing over to see a floating ball of fire. She blinked. Returning her gaze to the male she nodded weakly. "Y-yes, but I think I hurt my ankle from tripping over a root." She was holding her ankle as she spoke her tone hinted she was in slight pain.

After a moment she tried to pull herself up to stand, but sadly her ankle made it hard to keep balance. She winced, "I think it's twisted or something. Great." She frowned falling back to the ground.

Angel laughed a little as she fell then blinked as he looked into her eyes with a smile "hey, don't strain yourself" he said lightly taking her hand and helping her up. He put her right arm around the back of his neck to support her "there's not much I can do for you miss klutzy" he said teasing her with a chuckle "here, sit by the fire" her arm went over the flames on his arm but it didn't hurt her... It didn't even feel warm.

He sat her down by the fire and gave her his water bottle "drink up whist I check out your ankle" Angel touched her ankle lightly as he turned it left and right. His touch was as soft as a feather.

"I'm fine really." She said as he placed her arm around his shoulder to help lift her. She tilted her head in confusion as she saw her hand go through the floating flame and left no sensation of any burn or heat.

As he lowered her down by the fire she looked up at him as he spoke while handing her some water. Aylexia took it giving a small shy smile. "Thanks." She saw him go to examine her ankle as he touched it and moved it she closed her eyes ready to feel pain, but she could not even tell if he even had a hand on her. "Is..is it okay?" She asked opening her eyes slowly.

"Well..." He raised a brow and smiled at her "you really have twisted your ankle, I can't do much for you except inspect it" he looked over it again noticing how cold she was, it was a good thing there was heat around "what're you doing in a forest at this time of night?" He asked her as he found some bandages in his bag.

His headphones were lit up in flames, similar to his arm and played "so good - B.o.B" his green eyes shun underneath the dancing flames as he looked up at her "more importantly... What's your name?"

Aylexia released a long sigh before replying. "Well that's wonderful.." She huffed frowning. Glancing around she shrugged as he asked the question. "I-I was running away." She said lowering her head slightly. "I didn't belong at the village I thought was my home."

Tilting her head at the odd sound she was hearing from the things around his neck she shook it off as he went to ask yet another questions. She giggled softly then spoke, "My name is Aylexa." She replyed giving a small smile as she looked up to him. "And you?"

Angel looked at her with a slightly upset look "You too hunh? i guess it's true... Good things never last..." he looked up ate her then smiled "But, hey! we can't change the past... My name's Angelo" as Angel held her ankle with his right hand as gently as possible, his eyes turned a deep ocean blue as his eyes met with her's. following the sudden change of his eyes his tattoo started to ripple like water "But i prefer Angel, I'm heaven sent" he chuckled.

Angel got another bottle from his bag then held his hand above it. The water seemed to climb out of the bottle on it's own but at the same time the fire ball had disappeared leaving the camofire as the only light and heat source. The water was pulled out of bottle and he held the water in a ball in his hand... it had no solid outer... he held the liquid...

Angel slowly pressed the water onto her ankle until it surrounded it, coating her ankle as her placed slowly unwrapped the bandages.

Aylexia nodded, "Nice to meet you...Angel." She said as she watched in amazement and shock. She had no clue what he was doing. Was it some sort of witchcraft? She had never seen such odd powers before.

"Wh-what are you doing?" She finally asked after seeing he had got another bottle of bottle and did something to make it come alive. Aylexia blinked as she watched him maneuver the water like some sort of puppet. She felt nothing as it came in contact with her skin which made her become even more confused. Watching him place the bandages she spoke again. "What are you?" She whispered softly, her bright violet eyes looked at him as she waited for an answer.

Angel sat up as he finished wrapping her ankle up. It wasn't perfect but it'd do "isn't that a question everyone wants to know? Who am I?" He asked looking at her, his bangs fell over his right eye "who are you?... Who is anybody?... Just that one question..."

He stood up and looked down at her then shrugged "I've got nothing to hide" he said other a smile and morphed into a wolf. His fur was a lights are of orange and a darker shade at the back. His fore legs to paws were completely engulfed In an orange and yellow flame along with his tail. "I'm an elemental wolf... The last of my kind"

Aylexia was speechless as he seemed to morph in a mere second into a wolf she had never heard of nor seen in her lifetime. She blinked as she saw the fire. "I've never known those were real." She said "Least you can change into something so stunning..." Her tone seemed uneasy.

She brought a hand up but hesitated to touch him. Looking up to Angel she asked softly, "It doesn't hurt right? The fire?" Aylexia's long ebony hair had brushed over her shoulders now revealing a portion of her snow white angelic wings she tried so hard to keep hidden from the world.

Angel shook his head "Not if i don't want it to" he nuzzled her palm and stepped forward, closer to her. His orange fur was soft silky "Sometimes, i think it's a curse. sometimes i think it's a gift"

When her hand got close to him he changed his appearance, his fur slowly changed colours to a light blue but the tips of his fur were a pure clean white. His Forelegs were a beautiful white "it'd be nice to know what I was sent to this earth for... The reason why you've never met one like me is because there isn't another... not even one" his voice went quiet

Angel's head phones were still on him, around his neck in fact and they were slightly hovering from his body.

Aylexia smiled as her hands lightly ran through his fur. She giggled softly as it seemed to tickled against her palm. "I would say gift." She replied looking to him.

"What do you mean by the last one? Are there not anymore like you?" Her smiled had faded turning into a small frown as she knew how it felt to be one of a kind. She always asked herself the same questions. Why are you alive? Why are you the only one like you? Why are you a reject to the world? These questions seemed to haunt her night and day non stop.

She moved her hand up to pat his head then ran her finger through the long fur of his neck. "Does it matter why?" Aylexia asked moving to place her head against his neck her violet eyes shimmered before closing them. "Least you're not a complete reject like me" She whispered softly.

Angel stayed quiet if only you knew... he slowly morphed back into a human and as he morphed back, her head was resting on his shoulder. "You're What you think you are" his voice became soft "if you think you're a reject then that's what you become..." He looked down at her "In fact, I think you're the most normal person I've met so far... A person with an actual soul..."

He moved back a little and raised her hair from her chin "you're different too though" he said noticing the wings.

Aylexia blinked noticing he was back in his human form. She gave a sigh as he spoke. "I guess so, but I want to fit in.." She up to him as she spoke softly her tone was of a sad nature. "What do you mean with a soul? Everyone has one right?"

As he raised her hair she jerked away startled slightly she by accident moved her ankle which made her wince. "S-so what if I am?" She whispered keeping her glance away from him. "I hate them..."

"You're the only one who seems to understand where I'm coming from... Someone I have finally connected to" his voice was soft "and it's okay, I'm not going to force you to tell me what you are. Don't try so hard to fit in... You only get pushed away again.."

Aylexia's cheeks seemed to blush lightly. "Uh I- I guess so." She said relaxing a bit drawing out a heavy sigh. "Honestly I have no clue what I am and I try to fit in as best I can.. Though it never works out. That's why I ran away from the town I was staying in..."
