Angel smiled "it's hard for humans to accept differene, whether it's as demonic as a vampire or wolf. Of as heavenly as an Angel" he go up and picked up 2 stone slabs and tossed one on the stand above the fire... Almost like a make shift grill "I hope you're hungry"
Aylexia looked down to her stomach then up to Angel and nodded innocently. "Maybe a tad." She admitted with a warm smile. "Do you live out here all alone?" She asked letting her eyes roam around the fire as he tossed some sort of food onto the stone.
Angel smiled as she looked at her own stomach "even if you weren't hungry I'd make you... You're like a walking twig" he tossed a fish onto another smaller slab. "Bon Apetite" he said kissing his fingers.
Aylexia raised an eyebrow, "I eat...a tad too much at times, so I can't help being tiny" She huffed glaring at him, but wasn't the slightest angered. "It smells good though." She brushed some hair from her face. "You never answered my question though." She said softly her violet eyes glimmered as the light from the fire hit them.
Angel chuckled at her question "well no, but do my social skill make me out to be one who lives in the woods?" His brow was raised as he handed her the fish "I have great cooking skills since I move from place to place. That city was the the only one I wanted to settle down in" he glanced at her eyes then sat down besides her facing the fire "...shame... How people can judge you in your differences... Even those who were close" he took a bite out of the fish wand didn't feel sad even the slightest.
"Why the city?" She asked after thanking him for the food. She broke off a piece and popped it into her mouth. "It's delicious." She announced looking to him with a smile seeing he was now beside her. "I never had anyone close to me..The lady I used to live with told me they abandoned me because they saw me as some sort of demon." She lowered her head her eyes upon her plate.
Angel knew the story all to well but his was different. He slowly laced his hand in hers then tilted his head down to meet his eyes with her "there's other out there ya know. Not like you but those who are different. You found me didn't you?" He said smiling then taking his hand out of hers befre taking another bite of his food.
Trying not to blush she tilted her head to him hearing his words made her smile. "I- I guess you're right, Angel." She said feeling his hand pull away she couldn't help, but to feel sad. "I... guess I should get going soon." She said with a small sigh raising her head to gaze up at the stars. "I don't want to bother you to much.. most say I complain a lot."
"No, you're not bothering me, I told you" he glanced at the fire then back into her eyes "I love to talk, and talking to you felt... Good" he finished his food then tossed the slab to the side and then a burp escaped but he closed his mouth quickly "ummm, oops" he said with an awkward smile rubbing the back of his head.
"If you choose to travel with me then I can show you things you've never seen before, beautiful things. Though" he tried to catch her gaze once more with a soft smile "you actually look cute when you blush" he placed a gentle hand on the back of her hand "yeah, I caught you blush" he chuckled lightly.

Aylexia couldn't help, but to give a small laugh. "Excuse you." She said crossing her arms around her chest as if cold. How could he be could when near a fire? Looking to him she finished the last bite of her own food and placed the slab in front of her un knowing on where to actually place it.
"I- I am not blushing~" She said looking away. "But it would be nice to stop trying to fit in and do something else." She said to him still avoiding any eye contact. She hated being the nervous type around guys, well since she had hardly talk to any.... change that to none before Angel, which was sad. Her social skills seemed to mostly be her stuttering and trying not to blush, but that was harder then it looked. "What kind of places are you referring to?" She finally asked after a moment of silence.

"Ya cold?" He asked looking at her folding her arms "hold on" he said smiling. Taking a blanket out of his bag he slowly placed it on her. He sliped slightly but was able to recover, he was really close to her "hi..." He whispered in her ear then sat in front of her.
"Where were you planning to g anyway?"
"Where were you planning to g anyway?"
Smiling she took the blanket and thanked him. Watching him she shook her head, "Hi to you too." She laughed as the sound of his voice being close to her ear sent a small shiver down her spine, as he took a seat beside her she shrugged. "No where that I know of." She hugged the blanket around her it was soft agaisnt her skin. "Just was running away without a plan I guess you could say.
Angel smiled to himself and shrugged, looking up at the stars he huffed. "In that general direction..." He pointed to their left but he pointed at darkness "lay my demons... New and old... They're not that far from us... But far enough from me..." He looked down then up at her, noticing she was 't completely tucked into the blanket, he picked up the blanket in the part where it fell off her shoulder and rased it to her shoulder once again.
A gentle breeze swept through the empty, lonely and dark forest, not a would in sight for as far as the eye can see and in the centre, sat by a fire were them two. "I thought... I thought that it's be a... A good idea for me to face my demons..." His voice was barely a whisper.
