An ancient and mysterious kingdom from ages long passed into myth and legend stands strong unbeknownst to the surface dwellers. This mysterious kingdom is underground and you are one of it's denizens, there is much to learn and explore in this magical realm, will you be the one to save it? Or codem it? Live the lengend!
So I'm new to Forum RPing, but I've done RPing in general before. So this setting is be pretty heavily inspired by magic. It's open ended and you can do what you want really, be a farmer if you like or maybe an adventurer exploring the ruins and exploiting the secrets inside them? Perhaps you want to be a king? Well scrape yourself from the gutter and delve into the dark underbelly of the kingdom to lie, cheat and blackmale your way to the top. The thing is, with this RP there is an underlying story going on and though you can be a farmer and live your life on the farm, you would undoubtdly miss it. So I don't reccomend it. No matter what path you go down however there is an Endgame, and there will be hints of it everywhere. There is a history to this world that you may never see. But like I said before with everything there is a story just waiting to happen and may even be happening as you stab a goblin to death.
So it's gonna be a Middle-High fantasy setting going on in an industrial revolution powered by magic, or the practial use of its effects. So in that aspect it's partly steampunk and there will be steampunk elements to it. Though i said that, it's not really wide spread right now and you can play it in a more traditional sense as you most of the realm is still in the renisance and late medieval era.
I'd like around 4-5 players and I'm even up for using TS, Skype or discord if the party is up for it. Otherwise we can just use the forum like normal. Anyway, I've rambled on far too long. Come on Adventurers! LIVE THE LENGEND!

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
