Currently I'm working on reuploading my ocs here and I'm struggling sO MUCH to just get the basics down and not go off and try to make everything look aesthetically pleasing and whatnot.

I literally spent almost two hours alone on Lunar's profile flipping through links and images to find for her oTL

But on the other hand if I get it done and out of the way then I don't have to worry about it! But still I'm just aaaAAA

We all are. I totally understand..

It's frustrating, I had to totally recreate a character, but I figured it out eventually.

I still have profiles unfinished because they take so long and i c=don't want to put myself through that again until I absolutely have to.

I got really lucky and only lost a particular section in eveybody’s profiles ‘cause I‘d only just thought to add them before the rollback happened. Unfortunately, it was the playlist sections, and I hadn’t written down my song choices anywhere, so there’s a lot of hunting and copying and pasting to do, hahaha!

It’s not the same as your situation, but I do understand losing tons of work and having to find it in yourself to do it over. Sorry you’ve got such a big task in front of you - but I hope it’s (been?) going well, and I’m sure you’ll be proud of the results when you’re done!

Oh man I did trust me, I ended up sleeping for the rest of the day lmao. I'm gonna try and aim to at least get some more stuff done today though!

Oof that sucks man, glad you figured it out though! Sadly in my case my whole profile got deleted so I got stuck starting from square one -sOBS-

That's honestly a mood but I feel weird trying to find rp friends before I make my character profiles so when they're like "So what characters are you using?" I'm not just sitting there like;


Oh man at least you sorta lucked out though! A playlist section is an amazing idea though! I have a bunch of songs that I found that fits my nerds hella well. So I hope you don't mind me stealing the idea lmao.

Still thank you and I'm actually more pleased with how things are coming along than when I first uploaded everyone, yeh! ovob I may go through them again one day and probably spruce up their pages with more aesthetic stuff or something. I'm so used to places that allow you to custom code your character pages but at the same time it's a bit of a relief since I'm not the best with html or css oTL

I hoped that was how it was going - liking the profiles better this time around, I mean! That’s how it’s always been with art stuff for me. Like when i forget to save a digital sketch for a really long time, and I’m working on it and working on it and then the program crashes! Sure you’re like traumatized for a little bit - like, that just happened. I can’t believe that just happened... - but I always find that when I try again, somehow the results are always better... ; Maybe we spend a lot of the down time thinking of what we would improve, and then just shortcut to the improved version when it’s time to get back to it?

I like the straightforward way pages and profiles are arranged here, too. It feels easier to block the info in. And, hey, please DO steal the playlist idea! I’m just doing mini-playlists for my characters, 3 songs apiece, but music is a totally boss way to express emotions and ideas no matter how many songs you use.

I getcha no worries! c: Also I feel so hard on the program crashing thing, I've had it happen so many times that now I just actually end up saving a lot more since for some reason if I try to redraw what I was working on, I can't get it as right as it was. But maybe that's just me? Dunno but there's always redraws too later on down the line! I will agree about shortcutting to the improved version though for things like character profiles though, that's a bit easier for me at least lmao.

Same! I do really like the page layout as it makes things a bit easier to do and flesh out better later on! ;v; I absolutely will snag that idea then since I legit have full spotify playlists for my characters so I'm just gonna like, make a dedicated page of songs for them lol
