She struggled to stay calm "listen to me you piece of crap, I don't know what game your playing, but you better knock it off." She says angrily. "What did we do to deserve this anyway?"

”its a test to find out if you are worthy for the two fates"

"Me? Two fates? Ugh!" She said in frustration, trying to figure out what this meant.

"no...the boy, he's the one who grabbed it...thats why he chooses, himself or you to die"

"Grabbed what? The books?"

“the grimoire of the two fates..."

"Great, now I'm surely screwed over. Why do I have to be a part of this, I didn't make him take whatever it is he took. This is so unfair." She said, quite angrily now.

“remember what I told you yesterday, its up to him, but just remember what I told you"

"No I don't remember what you said yesterday. Ugh, why me?" She said and fought back a sob.

He forces the memory to return((that either both of you or neither of you survive))

She didn't know how to figure this out.

Aleem looks at her"do you have a family?"

She shook her head and tears rolled down the side of her face "don't pick me, I'm not worth it. I'm worthless Aleem, I can barely make a living. Even with my magic, I'm still useless." She closed her eyes.

“hey, I'm worthless too...I don't have magic, nor a family...are your parents alive?"

"I could care less, they abandoned me." She said.

"my dad died from a mystery disease..."He takes a deep breath"see you on the other side"

"What?" She says and manages to look over at him.

"thanks for everything..."

"Aleem, what are you talking about?" She began to get worried.

"I'm just a street rat, no job, no family, but if you are gone your boss will worry..."
