"?" He riased an eyebrow. "About my eye, or..?"

"you lost your cat features"

"Don't think I had any to start with."

"sorry, she is a little bit wrong up there"her mother says

He smiled sadly. "She reminds me of someone I used to know."

"really? is it rude to ask who?"the mother asks

The smile disappeared off of his face. "He's dead."

"oh..."the mother looks away from him and the girl looks at him"dead aren't always dead"

He raised an eyebrow, then shook his head. "Nevermind. Do any of you know where I could rest? It's been a tiring trip."

"you can stay with us"the girl says"I wanna know more about the cat"

Her mom looks at her

He chuckled, sighing. "Would that be ok?"

The mother sighs"yeah fine"

"It's fine if you don't want me to, though." He forced a smile, thinking about Jace and Aengus, unconciously, clenching his hands into fists.

"yeah, you can come"

The girl walks over to him"you can use magic right"

"Yep."

her mom grabs her"you don't talk about stuff like that"
