He dodged, lifting a sword made of pure flame, ready to strike. He plunged the blade towards her, forming a dagger in his other hand aimed lower; a trick learned from his father, to fool your opponent and kill them quickly.
She spun the trident deflecting them both. And jumped behind him. Her trident an inch from his back.
“I would be careful it’s dipped in hydra poison”
“I would be careful it’s dipped in hydra poison”
He didn’t respond; he was too lost to even try to understand her. He only had one purpose; kill. He turned, disappearing in a burst of flame, returning on the other side, a large collumn of furious inferno rushing at her, the sand turning to glass beneath it.
She just stood there
“Huh I forgot about the the Dip in the styx.”
She plunged her trident at him again

She plunged her trident at him again
Pure hatred coursed through his veins, causing his skin to be coated in flames; a dark armor formed around him, preventing her trident from piercing his flesh. He loosed another bolt of flame, followed by a shout that echoed throughout the colosseum; it was a shout of burning hatred, of blazing rage, of the desire to end this opponent’s miserable life.
She laughed
And pushed a button. The blades now sharp enough to cut through all armor like butter

“I’LL KILL YOU!!!” He roared, the fire growing more intense around him, cloaking him in an inferno of immense heat and anger, fueled by his own hatred.
She pushed him down and caused a minor earthquake in the arena floor.
She snapped her fingers makeing blood pour out from his face

“GAH!!!” He screamed, darkness surging above them. He shot a bolt of fire toward her, giving him time to recover and summon his sword again. “YOU WILL DIE!!!”
“Think again Male. Looks like you lost control. Weaklink”
She continued draining blood keeping the earthquake up

“NOOO!!!” His rage began to fade, humanity slowly seeping back into him; his power gone, he was fading. “Not like this,” he groaned as his life ebbed away, “I can’t...” he fell to the earth, exhausted and weakened. It was over, he realized; he had failed, fallen to the power of Netharan’s foe, alone and forsaken by all who knew him. He slipped out of conciousness, alive but near to death.
She bent neck to him
“You fight well for a male. And your resilience was admirable”
She pulled out a knife

She pulled out a knife
Through bloodstained eyes, his vision went light and dark, watching helplessly as she walked to him, knife prepared to make the final blow.
“Close your eyes. Rest easy. Young Warrior.”
As she stabbed his heart she wasn’t smiling instead she looked slightly remorsefull

“Devotion inspires Bravery,” his mind repeated the words he was told long ago, “Bravery inspires Sacrifice, Sacrifice leads to Death.” Was it bravery that got him killed, or his foolishness, releasing power he had hidden for so long?
She stood up. Pulling her knife from his chest
“The victor is Ruby Jackson,” Matthias shouted, the crowd once more cheering her name, “our Lord Netharan desires to speak to her now!” She was whisked to a tall tower high above a city, where a ragged figure clad in ancient red robes stood facing away from her, the lifeless corpse of Aaron seated next to him. He raised his skeletal hand, and energy flowed through his son once more. Aaron groaned, looking to his father in shame and remorse before being taken away by his Ash-Orc servants. Then the Fallen Lord turned to her. His face and hands, uncovered by the robes, were ashen and skeletal, his eyes, mismatched, glared at her; the right was red and shone dimly, while the left swirled with an undying flame of darkness. “Welcome, Ruby Jackson,” He rasped, though his voice came from her mind rather than his rotted lips, “daughter of the false, to my Dominion. I congratulate you on your success, though I am disappointed with my son’s errant weakness; he always kept his power hid away, but I sense that shall not be the same with you.”
“I never hold back. Especially against a male.”
She looked around the room
