She brushed some dust off her purple tank top.

He shakes his head slowly"He wasn't the one who cast the spell, he was the one who caused the mischief, enough of it that he was kicked out of our world...I was punished as well, then sent after him...I thought I had killed him back in our world"

“ Who is he anyway ?”

"He...is my old apprentice"

“ and then he betrayed you correct ?”

"Close enough"He shrugs

“Well I need to get back home. And join the hunters “

"yeah, well I want to get back home too, looks like we both might be out of luck"

“Well he might be able to help me get back. And I’m gonna do whatever it takes.”

"He can't, if he had that ability...he would not have needed to make the king angry, he would have gone on his own"

“ what do you suppose I do “

"How easily can either of you learn new languages"

“ all I know is English Greek and Latin “

"I didn't ask what languages, I asked how well you could learn them"

“ no I don’t know how to speak or learn any other languages “

He looks over at Jack"can you learn new languages?"

“Nope”

"Darn"He sighs"That removes one of the ways of you going home"

“Whatever we don’t need your help”

"No, but I was offering to teach you my language, so you could ask the two fates to send you home"
