So today I watched a documentary about my favorite musicalactress Pia Douwes.
To be honest i never expected to be that good!
In the beginning everything went well but slowly I could see that she was tired and later on she got a burnout.
It was interesting I tought I knew Pia but later on I realized I don’t Well kinda but now I saw more of her true self!
But why I made this topic because I think that we should realize how hard our favorite actors and actresses work to get where they are.
That they work really hard to do what they are doing.
For singers the same , they work hard go on tour , make videoclips , make new songs all for us! Do interviews , need to deal with fans. Haters!
Musical actors and actresses to
Learning scripts , everyday they need to perform , showing us their talent , but we often forget how tired they can be , we see our favourite people on stage and think ‘Wow she sings amazing , wow I wish I could be like her’
And I understand that cause I do the same , when I see Pia I think ‘Wow how amazing was that!’ ‘Wow she did that highnote!’ ‘Wow she is so pretty and perfect !’ And forget what she needed to do , how to get where she is.
The documentary really gave me a different view of her and for other singers actors/actresses

I know what you mean. We envy their lives but sometimes they are miserable. This reminds me of two people, the late Dolores O'Riordan and Mariah Carey. Dolores had anxiety attacks from all the eyes looking at her when she was up on stage because when she just sang in the pubs, in her home country of Ireland, people just ate and talked with one another while she sang, they didn't all stare at her, so she wasn't used to it. She was on tour when her grandmother died, which lead to a period of depression for her and her dark album To The Faithful Departed. She couldn't stop the tour, because she had a contract, and they were threatening to take everything she had away if she didn't uphold it.
Ultimately I don't think fame lead to her biggest problems, but they were definitely stressors. It's sad what happened to her, and I think she was amazing, and her music was amazing. She contributed to the world.
And Mariah Carey came out of her slump, but there was one time when she had to be hospitalized for exhaustion because she was doing acting, music, and other projects at the same time. Someone asked her what was wrong and she got this dreamy look in her eyes and she said, "I just want one of those days, where you get all your friends together, and drive to the beach, and eat fried chicken." She just wanted an ordinary, normal day, than anyone can have. She recovered, but yeah fame is not all glitter. Not all that glitters is gold. So it goes to show you we shouldn't really envy people, because we don't know what they're experiencing on the inside and we don't know if maybe we have something they want, and will never have, like a quiet life in the country, or something.

Hats off to the comedy actors and actresses in general--few people seem to realize how difficult it is for them. They actually have to work twice as hard as their drama counterparts, for half the recognition on the challenging nature of their work. Can you imagine the self control it takes not to break into laughter, to hold a perfectly serious, unchanged expression as if the thing they said wasn't some kind of punchline?
It's actually a heck of a lot easier to go from comedy to drama and give a believable performance, than it is to go from drama to comedy and do the same.
