I've recently created a new character which I'd love to use in a scifi RP - I'm too busy to come up with ideas for a full rp of my own so if anyone likes this character/thinks they'd be an interesting addition to a preexisting rp then send me a message as i'd love to be able to write them. Heres the character description - i'll be updating the one on my profile as i get more ideas too!
Morla:
Morla is an androgynous being, with a shock of short white hair, dark skin and eyes which at first seem totally black but when you get close to them you realise are filled with stars - the night sky.
No one knows quite how old they are, or where they came from, only that they are there. They have a fondness for the crew of starships. Their trust is hard to earn for they have seen much cruelty and barbarity from the races of this universe in their unnumbered years of being, but if you can earn it then you have a loyal ally for life.
What sort of being are they? No one knows - only that they are spoken of in legends which reach back into the mists of galactic time - you get the impression that they could take many forms if they so desired, but the one that they inhabit now is humanoid with high cheekbones and a slim muscular body. At 5'9, their stature is not imposing, but they have a way of drawing attention and comanding respect. They are not magic as such, nor godly - though some who meet them do wonder if Morla is responsible for some old earth myths - simply ancient and knowledgeable, though they are reluctant to share that knowledge.
Even they dont know if there are others like them - maybe they knew once, long ago, but have forgotten. They are deeply lonely and crave love, and adventure. But as most creatures in this universe are mortal - and indeed Morla does not know the limits of their own life, or whether they are immortal or simply a mortal cursed with an unusually long lifespan - their existance is scarred with loss: mortals have an annoying habit of dying and so love always carries with it the promise of inevitable loss and pain. To fill that hole they seek adventure hoping to find answers about their own origins along the way.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Far future, perhaps galactic teleporters and fast terraforming
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
