"Get her before she runs away!" Kitsoru heard a man shout. She had never run faster in her life. Technically, she never ran at all after being stuck in captivity for a good portion of her life. Something is telling her to run. Run as fast as she can. She kept her breathing under control as her bare feet collided with the rocky ground.
"If she gets out to the nearby city, it will be our heads!" She heard one of the hunters assisting the scientists proclaimed. What do they mean? She couldn't hurt a fly. She skidded to a halt seeing the path she was taking ended. A steep cliff with a good amount of rushing water underneath. The fall was survivable but there was a chance she could be swept away by the rapid currents of the water.
"Subject 033-4!" A scientist loaded long tube with a potent amount of sedative. Kitsoru's tail tucked in fear of the water and the approaching group. However, it was as fate chose for herself. She accidentally placed her foot on an incredibly soft patch of dirt which had been worn away by the crashing waves turning it to mud. Her footing slipped and she fell into the water before the scientist could put his lips to the tube. One of them, presumably the boss of the laboratory company, gazed over. He sneered and smoked the rest of his cigar he had been smoking.
"We will find her soon enough." He said before discarding that same cigar into the rushing rapids.
Basically, that is the prologue to the RP for my character. How they (your character and her) meet is entirely up to you. Also, read on her profile when you get the chance to see exactly why they want her to bad or how she got into that situation in the beginning. Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
