He actually stood there quietly as the head guard spoke and didn't so much as flinch when the arrow whizzed by his face. Instead he smirked a bit and when the guard finished, he looked at the ceiling where the slits were and waved in a surprisingly calm manner.
"Hey there boys. Your boss may speak the truth down here but take some advice from me. Save your arrows."
He then looked back to the head guard as he folded his arms over his chest.
"You see guy. Heres the low down. You have this...'barrier' that keeps magic at bay but you can't find one little ol killer? That was my intent for coming up here. To tell you who the killer was but your rookie wanted to threaten me. I don't take threats lightly so before you get all high mighty mr pompous pants on me, let me break it down for you. I can stop this whole fiasco right now. I know who the killer is. I can point them out to you. I possess the ability to make this night return to as normal as possible but your little guard over there just had to jump without looking where he was gonna land. See...this knowledge i have...it puts me in a fair position. So i'll make you a deal. You drop your little barrier and i'll reveal this knowledge to you. Sounds fair to me."

Myth noded, "You got it." He turned to Melody, whos flute like object was gone and she was playing a floating GuZheng (Chinese instrument, just pluck the strings) with no stand. "Wait what? When did you change instru....Nevermind." He turned to see the guards attacking. "Melody! Take out those two!" Myth said, and with that Melody nodded and she faced the guards. The started plucking different strings and a wave of sheet music poured from her instrument. They music surrounded two of the guards, knocking them out cold. They were asleep, but not dead.

It's fine. Just a filler while Kai walked back to the main room. Actually enjoyed reading it. ^^ ))
When the magic bind was placed he could feel himself suddenly feel as though everything was closed in on him. His brow furrowed in irritation as he grumbled a few words, but soon heaved a sigh, torso slumped over. "Bah, damnit. Magic is of no use then, didn't get to use it any." He scoffed with his rising torso and straightening posture. "Endoresu." Calling to the harboring entity. "How are you faring with this?" Head tilted back staring up at the ceiling. A breeze was all he felt. "You're bound just the same, hm..?" Just before he had taken a step the floor in front of him was cleaved with a deep gash. "Mn.. don't waste your strength." Lacing his fingers behind his head he walked on through the rumble he had created in the moments he was able to use the Endoresu freely. "This archaic field is ancient, sure enough. You won't hold intangible for too long Endoresu. Just revert. You won't do anyone any good if you're no longer bound. The most you'd be able to do is give someone a cold with constant wind" Saying followed by subtle laughter just when the chrome blade materialized strapped to his back at a horizontal angle.
It had taken some time, but before long he arrived at the landing of the stairs he had climbed moments earlier. The commotion that was going on in the distance was quite surprising despite the mana barrier. "Not a common group at all, still putting up a fight?" Words to himself. Down the stairs he went to the scene before him. Everything seemed to be moving along quite well for the group whom he temporarily found partnership in. At the last step he took a seat just when Myth's 'goddess' lulled a pair of guards to sleep. Applauding, it seemed Kai was getting more enjoyment watching his 'in the moment companions' do work of their own. With a broad smile on his face he simply, clapped. There was nothing to be gained, an on looker in the distance or perhaps a morale booster.

(Lol, I was just wating for someone else to post)
She grinned at the two guards. They were the same that had opened the doors for her when she had arrived at the palace. She was glad the power restriction thingy didn't affect the effect the music had on the crowd.
"Wow, that was awesome!" Her dragon senses then picked up the conversation between Lazaras and the annoying guard. Her eyes widened. "That son of a -" She was cut off by the sounds of another fight nearby.
This was just great. Blaze analyzed her few and waining options. If he, after all told who had been the criminal then at least she'd be able to blow up one of the doors to leave before anyone noticed.
Being able to breath eaier then, she was relieved she had a backup plan, not caring now about who told who what. She found her partners' behaviour funny and weird at the same time.

(( YAY! I MADE THE FORUM ACTIVE AGAIN ))
Myth looked at Kai applauding. Simultaneously Myth and Melody bowed to him smiling. About seven more guards came from Melody's right. "Melody, sound wave!" Melody winked at Myth before her GuZheng started spinning until it transformed into an electric guitar. She raised her right hand before violently playing a single chord. As her finger grazed along the instrument's strings a large 'blockade' of sound was emitted from Melody's guitar. It immobilized the guards, they were stuck in place holding their heads as their ears were bleeding. "Finish them!" She played one more chord knocking them all back. The guards spasmed until they passed out. Yet again they weren't dead, but they weren't hurting anyone anytime soon. Myth heard Makenna which made his inquire, "What happened?"

The Captain of the guard chuckled, "Oh yes demon! I can trust you! My guess? The girl with the red hair, the one who had the dagger. Tell me demon, am I right?" At this point the musical mis-haps had gotten the attention of the archers in the ceiling. Three arrows wizzed through the air at the muse.
The Captain started backing up until he hit the wall, there was a torch next to him. He pulled it down and then out, dissapearing throught he floor.
One hundred and two guards were now in various locations in the ball room. Those that rushed to help their fellow guard were taken down. This stopped any others from trying to release the endangered guests. Hopefully guards outside could release them, the doors did swing inwards however.
No more guards came out, they had escorted other VIPs in the castle to saftey away from everything. This was all that was left.

"They now know it was me." She whispered to Myth grimacing, preparing herself for plan B. "You should go, before it gets bad." The night had been one big twist of events, and it was still not over yet.
The guards surround them were apparently still unaware of the news, but soon the would know and then they'd all point their swords at her. She needed the barrier down as soon as possible. Dying like this hadn't been planned, so it was not happening. Not if she had a say about it.

Melody saw the arrows coming from a mile away and simply sidestepped all of them, which would be expected from a Muse. Myth turned just in time to see, "Woah! Where did those even come from?" To which Melody just smiled. Melody span the Guitar until it turned into a violin. She saw the guards encircle Myth and Makenna, and with command she lulled all of the guards to sleep without hesitation. "Thanks Melody!" Myth knew their was bound to be more guards and started to worry. He knew Melody was powerful since she was a goddess, more or less, but he didn't know how long she could keep it up. When he heard Makenna he said to her, "It was you ho did what?" He looked at her as if she had just ate a fly sandwich.
He watched as the head guard disappeared and cursed under his breath.
"Well that bastard got lucky...good guess too. Shame that wasn't what i was gonna tell him."
He then turned and looked over the balcony as more guards had arrived and leapt over it landing back by the muse myth and Blaze.
"Well i learned two things. One...the head guard is a little chicken who can't stand to a challange when it's presented to him and two...These guards are pushovers..."
He then grinned a bit and grabbed a inbound guard by the throat and lifted him up clean off of his feet. After a moment of struggling the guard seemed to go limp just before the body was thrown into another group of guards.
"Any of you guys... Oh wait... Never mind. Heh."
He then smirked a bit as his red eyes began to glow brightly.

Blaze shook her head at him and then threw her dagger at a guard coming at her, succesfully connecting with his side. She went to retrieve her blade.
"Why did you tell him that you knew who the criminal was? Are you insane?" She told Lazaras as she saw how he choked a guard to death.

It was almost as if he were invisible to the guards that confronted the others, seated idly on the lower case of stairs. "This party didn't last too long." Smile and laxed poise ahoy. A trickster more or less when he wanted, never directly getting involved with situations and never quite directly ending them either; just there to keep a little humor alive when possible whether to others or for himself. Rising to a stand he proceeded back up the stairs and approached one of the shattered windows in one of the corridors he had decimated. Hopping onto the sill he moved to the outer column that separated the windows. Here he grasped hold of the ridges with tightly pressed digits to scale the walls of the inner court.
Despite being in an outside environment he could still feel the ancient seal's hold on his cyrokinetics. Eyes skyward, each haul of his arms brought him closer and closer to the castle's rooftop. His goal in this endeavour? Should there be more guards in the surrounding vicinity he would at least be able to estimate how much longer the combat would prolong or even manage to slip out himself with here being no gain from the matter.

The guards stopped rushing and remained where they were around the group. It went silent except for clapping heard coming from another hallway. Then the pattering sound of leather boots echoed down from the dark. Lastly came three men. All of them wrapped in leather and cloth with enchated necklaces and other jewelry giving a magic aura off as the item's magic was fizzling out from the spell.
The clapping man in front spoke with a thick accent. "Aye, this is a cute lil performance ye got here. Whats say ye surrender now and we let ye leave with your lives?" They stopped walking just outside the doorway, away from the demons and fighters. He looked up at the muse and tapped his ear, turning it to reveal the protection he was wearing. These were the three expert demon hunters the Captain of the Guard was talking about.

Myth crouched slightly to a defensive stance. "Who are you! And what have you done to our magic!" He shouted at the head guard. "Let us go, no one else has to die." He looked back at the other party guest, swaying to Melody's music like brainless mummies.
((The head guard is gone, he went through a trick escape route))
The hunter in front, presumably the leader of the three spoke up behind his scarf consealed face. "We're the King's royal demon hunters." He looked up at the muse floating above. "Nice goddess you have there. Mind if I use something of my own?" He opened a locket dangling at his side and a screaming, wet-black haired ghost of a women went shooting out towards the muse. The banshee screamed several queasy members of the court unconcious.

Blaze covered ears, glaring at this demon hunter. Things bad gone from bad to worse. And she still hadn't eaten. There were people waiting for her.
"Are you going to kill us?" She asked folding her arms over her chest stubbornly, refusing to surrender. "I don't recommend it."

"Nay lil lass. Surrender n' everyone lives." The guard smiled as the banshee was still reaching for the goddess. Scream versus music.
((Oh sorry I didn't read properly, and really? The only thing going for u and you're gonna make some black haired lil' fart try and take that away? ))
Myth covered hi ears and sunk to the ground. He screamed to Melody, who was putting up a fight, "USE IT! NOW!" Melody nodded and she involuntarily floated closer to the banshee, as if sucked in. She rushed back to her spot above Myth, but had trouble doing so. Melody's instrument span around, until it was gone. Hundreds of horns appeared in a puff of pink smoke. All kinds of horns appeared, most likely all of them. Melody's eyes glowed a white-ish pink blend before she giggled and sang loudly, "CRESCENDO!" All of the horns sent out a blast of beautiful music. It formed a wall of sound that blew though everyone that was on Myth's side, hitting only a few guards (blowing them several hundred feet away, knocking them out), and aimed straight for the banshee. Myth got to his feet, hoping this would work, still clenching his ears.

The banshee dissipated in the wall, becoming black mist, then just nothing. The man pulled the locket off it's locatio in its side and threw it aside. He was still smiling. "What say ye? Give us the girl and you live." He help up a handfull of other lockets of various dark creatures they captured and now have do their bidding. All three men's sides were heavily adorned with such things as these lockets. He out the other lockets away except one pitch black metal locket. The only other kind of black one was obsidian.
Myth looked at the lockets with fear, then anger. He narrowed his eyes and sprang up. He climbed up the stairs, balcony, and beams like a cat. He flipped through the air like a ninja fox. He crouched down parallel to the guards, facing Melody and Blaze. He did a flip over, which was more of an aerial cartwheel. When he did he extended his hands over them, in an attempt to snatch, if not most, all of the charms.
The hunter stepped aside and pulled out a dagger. If the flipping kid didn't dodge in his aerial assault he was sure to be injured. The two men behind him pulled pi and opened two lockers each. Both of them brass. Two gruesome looking spirits came crawling out of the floor where the mist flew to from the lockers. They looked at the group and walked towards them slowly.
