I'm sure the holidays are a big slowdown for the world of the imaginative, as the real world demands our attention. Family get togethers dinners shopping etc can take it out of us I suppose. Maybe I just need some reassurance here I guess, to make sure what I am thinking is correct.

Basically all of my rps suddenly slammed to a hault. One or two still trickle at a slow pace but the others have completely shut down. This is my first holiday season here and I am wondering of that's a normal thing that happens in December here? Do you guys have this happen also?
It's definitely not irregular. I used to RP almost every single day, but during December (and part of November), I tend to slow wayyy dowwwn. Almost all of my primary RP partners are going through one thing or another. Health issues, family visits, family problems, school ending. With everything going on in my own life, I've gone from writing almost every day to writing about once a week. It's a tough season and everyone's feeling it. The best thing we can do right now is have confidence in ourselves and patience with one another. The closer we get to spring, the quicker things will pick up again!
