This Looking For RP topic is marked as closed, meaning it is no longer seeking new players.

It's Christmas Eve (for myself and a few others), and I figured it'd be a great time for some cheesy, Christmas and holiday themed RPs in a variety of different fandoms. Now, for these, I'm not looking for anything besides some light hearted, humorous, and cheesy plots, possibly with a bit of romance sprinkled in here and there. This could be a 1x1 or done with a small group of 2-3 people, and with that out of the way, let's get to some potential fandoms and plots down below. :)

Pokemon: In the Pokemon world, Christmas and similar holidays (at least in the early seasons) is a popular time of year for the citizens, people get together for food, gifts, and just a good time between them and their loved ones. Today, in [insert city here]. a festival had begun celebrating this much loved holiday, your group decides to take part of the festivities; eating sweets, picking up souvenirs, and all around, just having plenty of fun.

So, basically, with the Pokemon universe, we'll be having some fun at a small festival in a random location in the Pokemon world, it doesn't matter where the festival is, just as long as we can have fun. Your typical festival shenanigans will occur here, we'll play some games, perhaps have a battle or two, start some new cheesy relationships, and so on. We can decide on the region before we start the RP or just let whoever makes the opening post decide, but regardless, this should provide for some fun scenes. Any and all of my characters are available for the RP, though not all are available for a romantic relationship.

Skyrim: In this frozen province of Tamriel, festivals aren't unheard of, but thanks to the civil war and recent dragon attacks, the people of this land seem to be as divided as ever. Imperials against Stormcloaks, men against mer, vampires against vampire hunters, werewolves against werewolf hunter, I could go on all day, but it just seems that no matter where you look, people are against each other. In response to all of this, the young Dragonborn, Ja'vassa decided to host a small festival in Solitude, hoping that this would bring people come together and at least temporarily stop fighting. This festival involved food, drink, and a time of fellowship that would hopefully last for a few days. Somewhere along the way, Ja'vassa had met your character. How will you two spend your time at the festival?

Similar to the Pokemon one, this takes place at another small festival, this time in Solitude, being hosted by Ja'vassa and Jarl Elisif. Food, drink, and fun are a plenty here, with Ja'vassa truly looking forward to making some friends and hopefully, he'll be able to keep a decent level of peace for a short time. Your character and Ja'vassa decide to spend the majority of the festival's runtime together, possibly becoming close friends, possibly even more. After the festival ends, perhaps the two of you could each other for some adventures.

The World of Majoria: This world is known for its bloody history, people are commonly at each other's throats for little to no reason, but the many festivals around the world often gather people together for a time of peace and fellowship. Here are a few countries where, in my opinion, the most enjoyable festivals will be found.

Canis Majoris - A small country in northern Majoria, the people of this nation revere plants of all kinds, their most famous symbol being the sunflower, commonly seen all over the country. Festivals are a common sight, many of them are for minor reasons, but still, they gather a decent crowd. Listed below are some of the major cities and their most notable festivals.

Festivals of Canis Majoris
Camor: The capital of the city and home to the Annual Sunflower Festival. During the first week of summer, the royal family hosts a small festival dedicated to what they call, the Blooming of the Sunflower; this marks the beginning of the country's usual farming season and it celebrates the greatness of what the country did in the year prior. People gather round selling food, treats, and trinkets, games and other stalls are popular here as well. The festival lasts for a week and at the end of the week, the festival is put on pause until the final week of fall, this is the known as the Rise of the Budding of the Sunflower, marking the end of the usual farming season. This celebrates the country's bountiful harvests, and while it's a bit colder, people gather here to sample some of the freshly harvested food, exchange gifts with each other, and at the end, a speech from the King, congratulating the hardworking citizens for making the country great.

Caleah: The City of Gardens hosts the annual, week long Verdant Festival. This festival usually occurs in the first week of spring, being the time when most people begin to plant new flowers in hopes of revitalizing their gardens that died out during the harsh winters. This is also considered to be a great time for couples, the festival is a popular spot for honeymoons, anniversaries, and other special occasions. Because of its association with love, it's often nicknamed the Festival of the Heart.

Macot: The City of Rings hosts the annual Jewel of Edas Festival, celebrating the many jewelers and miners that live within the city. People gather around to sell and show off their latest creation, some jewelers are praised for unique and beautiful designs, while others are ignored for less than interesting designs. It's a popular spot by those who wish to finally tie the knot with their future spouse.

Sirius - A large nation just southeast of Edas, occupying the southern half of Ucela. This proud nation enjoys celebrating with each other for a variety of reasons, each festival drawing hundreds of people to take part in times of fellowship with each other. Down below are the major festivals in the country.

Festivals of Sirius
Northfair: The capital city is home to the annual Lotus Festival, a week long celebration dedicated to the founding of the nation. People frequently gather to celebrate the foundation of the country, eat a variety of different meals, also unique to the festival, theater productions play a major role in it, people gather around to watch the new productions from a variety of directors. The end of the festival is usually marked with a speech from the reigning king of the nation, praising the citizens for helping in making this country great.

Tuna Harbor: This port city is home to the Oceaniac Festival, a festival dedicated to the nation's love for fish dishes. It's a short festival, only lasting three days, but people from all over the country gather to sample a variety of dishes made from the most renowned chefs. It's also home to the annual fishing contest, participants compete against each other to catch the largest tuna, and the winner receives a rather large gold reward and earns a spot in the National Fisher's Hall of Fame in Northfair to be immortalized for their successes.

Sunfell: Home to the annual, week long Solar Festival, this festival is especially aimed towards children and their families, featuring child friendly meals, crafts, and games. Each day, the most renowned astronomers reveal their findings with the general public and announce plans for the next year. The end of the festival is often marked with the annual lighting of the Stained Star, a massive glass structure that resembles the sun, inside of the glass structure is filled with a special, flammable liquid and when it's lit, the sun glows in a variety of beautiful colors.

With these festivals, I've got a variety of character that could be used for it; the ones in Canis Majoris, Silas or Cain and Kyanne will be the most likely to visit the festivals, while the ones in Sirius will likely be visited by the Ross siblings.

Skyrim x Earth crossover - So, this one is a bit different than the others, this one involves Ja'vassa through some portals and other ridiculous crap, he ends up in Earth during the Christmas season and he ends up running into your character. Confused by what's going on, you teach him about Christmas and decide to show him what it's all about. What happens here is entirely up to you, though I'd actually love a romance to form between the characters.

Now, for this RP, I don't have too many requirements, I'm simply looking for some short term RPs. I don't have any requirements for length, but I'd like at least a paragraph per post and I need some patience, since I'm slow at responding. If this is okay with you, PM if anything interests you :)

Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, one-off scene.
