Galena put the deer over the fire before standing." I'm going to look around." She walked and vanished into the forest, needing some time alone.

The girl stopped on one of the lower branches and looked down at them, nodding when Galena left, understanding. "I've never heard of it. I might have been there, but I'm terrible with names. You could've have started by saying you had a map, you know, elder."

"Yes well, sometimes it's best to be lost till you absolutely need to be found. Now I fear as though something bad is happening that needs to be corrected there, or it wouldn't be on this map. You see this paper is on of magic, go figure, and it only shows where places need to be corrected to restore their natural balance." He pulled out another piece of paper and it showed other towns, none of which on the one he had originally. "I had thought so, Arden Court isn't here, which means something must be done. It is the closest town and the one we should head to first, and since your new friend seems to think we should only travel by day, we should head out at the first of light."

Galena wasn't far, just in the next clearing. She was laying on her back, looking at the stars. She startedto calm down as she searched the stars. She listened to thier conversation.

"Corrected?" Blaze tapped her chin. "Sounds like I will be busy these days." She moved so she was hanging upside down. "What do you think it's wrong with that place?"

"Won't know till we get there. It's one of those things you don't know till you look it in the face. Anyway, our little eaves dropper should come back here, my spell doesn't reach beyond this clearing. Also, I was wondering what brought you out to a place you don't know where you are?" He asked in a quizzical tone.

Galena growled a little but stayed in place. She didn't want to be near Felix at the moment.

"I don't know where I am half of the time." Blaze said swatting her hand at him. "Really, I mean if I don't need to, I'd rather not know where I've been. I feel better that way." She didn't say anything about Galena. The girl needed her time to get it together and not rip Felix's head off, at least that's what it looked she wanted to do minutes before.

"It would seem you have more experience with being men whom are older than you and have move attitude. What is it you do for a living exactly?" He was still looking at his maps to see if any changes could be seen, and he smiled at her motion and level of maturity.

Unable to help it, Galena huffed and sat up. She crossed her legs and put her hands in her lap, closing her eyes. She began to calm herself by meditating.

"I travel." That was all she was going to say. It was not wise to go around telling everybody she killed people. Blaze started swinging on the branch, her legs supporting all her weight and her wild red hair at display. "Hey Galena! Could you come back here? What if some creeper appears out of nowhere?"

"It would be such a shame for one so rare as you to be defiled by some...." He looked at Blaze with an odd expression on his face, "Creeper..... when you can be perfectly safe inside my magic barrier." He continued to examine his maps and when he felt the towns were in their respective places for the time being, he put them away. "So.... does this travel job of yours pay you well? You don't seem to carry any food on you, so you can't travel at any given time." He took the liberty of cutting up the venison and handing out portions with cups of water and bread.

Galena didn't move from her spot, even as her stomach growled. She ignored it and focused more. She finally calmed down even though she still wanted to hurt Felix. She opened her eyes and looked at the sky, her blue eyes sparkling with stars.

Blaze sighed, her upside down position making her face start to turn red. "Yes, it pays me well. What do you do for a living? Annoy people to dead? You made a good job with Galena then." She laughed a little, trying to change the subject.

"I have no need for a job." He ate not totally hungry but mostly not to let the venison go to waste. "We should all get some rest before we set out."

Galena stood up and walked over but just leaned against a neaby tree. She was calm and relaxed for now. She watched Felix then the fire.

"Everybody needs a job." Blaze said then rubbed her hands together, coming to a sitting position on the branch. The night was really cold, lukily her dragon part kept her warm enough. "Okay, I'm going to sleep now."

"I don't need one. That's fine I'll be leaving early in the morning, if you wish to join me, then by all means come along." He Galena's food close to the fire to keep it warm, laying down and rolling to his side he went to sleep as well.

Galena sighed before sitting with her back against the tree. She didn't fall asleep but meditated the whole night. In the morning, there were a few small birds sitting on her shoulders and some were hopping around her, comforatable to be around her since she had been very still the entire night.

When Blaze woke up yawning the next morning she screamed at the sight of so much birds. They drove her crazy, as well as squirrels. They brought bad memories. "Why do you let them do that?" She asked Galena. "I think one might have pooped on your shoulder."
