I know it's not new years eve for everybody. But I had such a good time at my new years eve eve party I went to. Had many wines, which is rare for me, and spent four hours talking to all my nerdy dorky friends I wouldn't have met this year without NaNoWriMo, so I was really happy and really loved and felt welcome. After the week/month I've had, I really needed it. I cried most of this week and felt like I was saying the wrong things.

So I shall share photos of my dress and my face and my friend A and I because I want to! (And she's cool with it.) I'm not really a 'stay anon' online person, I am a camera ham,
and 2019 is the year of no shame for me personally. ❤

If you feel like it feel free to share pics of your evenings. Even if it's you and your pet or computer or Netflix, no worries. I'll be spending actual new years eve on Netflix haha.

It was a karaoke New Year's Eve for Sandra and I! We had fun! The bar was not that filled up--it was great! I got to sing like 7 times and sing whatever we wanted to. I love low-key places that are not popular!

Happy new year from me and my roommate! We enjoyed watching people set off fireworks for a full hour before things died down again. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves.

We didn't dress up and were just in comfy clothes with unkempt hair, fight the system!

I just stayed at home watching tv and being lazy as usual I took the time to watch the fireworks in Edinburgh and London though

Oh, last night new years, it was 2am and someone set off a firework in an alley. The alley that my bedroom wall is directly connected to. I sleep against that wall.

So, I'm half asleep in my bed, I'm tired, fireworks are over and suddenly...

BAM!

Some idiot set off a firework in that alley, and it hit the wall, and scared the hell out of me. I didn't get much sleep last night.

i had a strange yet fun time with my friends. we watched the weirdest time square livestream i’ve ever seen. i had an existential crisis because 2018 flew by and also because i’ve been to times square so i was staring at the screen like “woah i’ve been there.” we found a year old dead animal body locked away in a shed. it’s all up from there.

I ended up working an event last night, but it was so much fun that it didn't feel at all like work (but maybe that was the wine my boss was feeding me😁). We had a couple of comedians in the early eveing; Colin O'Brien and Daryl Purvis both very nice, funny men if you get a chance to see them dont pass it up. Tons of food and tons of drinks, a DJ & dancefloor, plus a fireworks show before the countdown

If it wasn't for the blizzard that hit us here in Ontario we would have had a much bigger turn out. But, regardless we made it a great night for the 50 people who showed up, and we managed to raise a little money for Kid's Sport (a local chairty that helps underprivileged families get their children involved with sports).

Unfortunatley, I didn't get alot of pictures during the event as I was busy in the kitchen prepping food but the couple I have are of the set up and are located here, plus of course a NYE selfie
