Ellie, giggled and moved to sit with AJ, making her doggy dance with his dino.

Downstairs echo nods and breathes out slowly, “ok well you can stay down here till they leave, then your gone, got it?” She said to luna, just as another knock sounded, silently cursing she turns back to the door.

Great, she didnt have enough supplies to support a whole group of people, sarah and aj, sure but adding others would only take from ellie and that wasn't happening. “Hello, i aint got no food so keep it movin” She hollard back at the closed and baracaded door.

“Luna your staying downstairs, theres a bathroom, running water and a bedroom towards the back of the house, dont steal my shit and ill be sure you dont die.” She says, turning to sarah, “cmon lets get you cleaned up and tend to aj.” She still hadn't mentioned ellie, and wouldn't she needed to protect her in case the others where not as nice as they seemed.


Sarah she felt was safe, but none of the others would be allowed past the main level of the house.

AJ giggled more and made the dinosaur wave it's small arms, as if saying hello. "It says hoi!"

Sarah nodded, the thought of the gunshot simply making the pain return to her shoulder. She tried to move the injured shoulder, which caused her to since and grunt. "Yeah... Thanks."

Ellie giggles and makes the puppy wave back, “hai” she babbles.

Slowly she climbs the stairs, leading the way and useing the key tied around her neck to unlock the large heavy door. Grunting with the effort as she pushes it open and walks up the last few stairs. Turning to help sarah, then closed and lockes the door again.


As they enter the attic sarah whould note it was built like a smaller more secure version of the house below them. Walls lined with nonperishable foods, medcial supplies, blankets ect.

AJ clapped excitedly, and made his own dinosaur clap too.

"Oh shitttt man. No wonder you're good up here!" Sarah looked in awe. "I haven't seen this much in... Ages."
"Swear!" AJ was quick to point out, looking at her with a pout.
"Sorry buddy," Sarah muttered, flashing a small smile.

She nods, turning to ellie as the small child lept down from the bed, dog forgotten and ran full force at her. She swung the small blonde girl up and into her arms, hugging her close.

“Yea my family built this in case of well, crap like this. And this here is ellie.” She said, kissing the small one’s blonde curls before carrying her and walking over to a small medcial area. Setting ellie down as she beckoned sarah over to her.

“Here ill clean the wound and stich ya up. Then i think Aj and yourself would enjoy a nice hot bath.” She smiled, setting her bow in its place by the lower bunkbed before gathering the items needed to dress and clean sarah’s shoulder.

They were hostile towards me so Luna just crouched in a corner. she was thinking of my brother and family. Tears came t her eyes. she scolded herself. Crying wont make it better luna. remember your leaving as soon as the zombies are gone, she thought. she remember hearing some little kids laughing. she dug in her bag and grabbed out the last thing her brother gave her, A dog. she was lucky it kept quiet. she won't be able to take care of it. she gently grabbed the pup from her bag and put it on her lap. she had a small peace of jerky in her bag and she gave it to the pup. true she would've been able to fight off the zombies but she wanted to give the pup a home. They seemed to have more supplies then she did. Luna stood up to sneak out. She got close to the door.

"I've got supplies of my own, I just thought you could use help. I killed these infected for you, you're welcome." She continues walking down the street. She shot a couple more of the infected as she made her way to her base. She was quite mad about the whole speaking to those people, they were quite rude and they didn't even know her situation or what was going on. She decided to next time let them die, maybe then they'd learn to be nice. "Verla, knock it off you're doing it again." She says to herself. She was thinking crazy again.

Sarah opened her arms for AJ, to which he ran into and hugged her legs as she chuckled. She picked him up while wincing, sitting him on her hip with one of her arms around him. She attempted to make small conversation.

"Is she yours? Daughter? Sister maybe?" She motioned to Ellie, glancing at the girl.

I opened the door and it creaked. I froze

She would go down and check on luna as soon as she has sarah and the kids settled. “She’s my baby sister, born about a year ago, speech and some other delays because of the stress.” She says, while taking some antiseptic and wiping the blood and dirt from the wound.

“Straight through or am i looking for a bullet?” She asks, exmaining her shoulder, she also hands AJ a pop to distract him from what she was doing to sarah. She didnt need a scared little boy on her hands while working on someones wound.

I couldn't open the door. I went back downstairs.

"It felt like it went straight through, but I'm not really sure. You never know with the Frontier's." She looked at AJ, her expression becoming gentle and hurt. He seemed distracted enough, but she couldn't shake the guilty feeling she had for subjecting him to all that she had.

She continued to try and make conversation. "It's a shame." her voice conveyed the pain that her eyes held. "Kids shouldn't have to grow up in this. I can deal with death. I'm pretty much an adult. But those two?...""

She shook her head, "It's scary."

Every exit is baracded and locked..unless echo gives luna the key or she is magic she cannot get out))

She nods, pulling down the shoulder part of sarah’s shirt to get a better look at the wound. “Yup straight through, ok gunna stich it now. Try to keep still, this wont be fun.” She winks, an attempt to ease the sistuation before she began to stitch the front wound, wiping away any blood as she does so.

“Yea, it isnt fair, but there could be worse places to raise a child, at least here they are safe and have things they need to be happy..normal.” She replies, noting Aj’s eyes on her, she smiles and tossles his hair, “how about you go play with ellie ok bud? Dont worry sarah will be just fine.”

"Yeah... Yeah." when she begun to stitch it up she almost immediately sucked in a large breath, her hands balling into fists.

AJ looked up at Echo, smiling and nodded. He didn't question her at all, and just ran over to go play with Ellie as he smiled brightly at the small girl.

"I'm a horrible mother figure." She muttered, letting out a shaky breath mostly due to the pain. "He's seen things he shouldnt. He's done things he shouldnt. And its all my fault."

As AJ runs off she finishes the stitching and began to dress the wound. “Heyy, its ok the world we live in, we do the best we can right? Ellie has seen terrible things to, and witnessed me killing our parents..nothing about this is easy. But your both safe now and i promise i will help keep it that way.”

She smiled, and brushed the stray hair from sarah’s face, moving then to clean and stitch the wound on her back.

Ellie giggles and pulls out some blocks, sitting on the floor to build a tower with AJ, the two in there own world.

AJ clapped excitedly and helped, making sure to be careful when he placed a block. He ended up accidentally knocking it for with his foot and he looked really guilty. "Ah! I sorry! I didnt mean to!" He was quick to apologise, being the expressive person he was.

Sarah let out another small breath and smiled a small bit. "I really appreciate it. I've already had one kid starve... I don't him going as well. It might just break me."

Ellie giggles and builds the tower again, then knocks it down, “yay, dr...drgin knock twoer” she says, making up a world with dragons.

As she works on stitching up the other wound she nods to sarah’s words, “no worries, i cant not help a sweet young girl and a kid. I lost ellie’s twin to...it was hard. But dont worry AJ will be fine.” She says with another soft smile, finishing up and dressing her shoulder.

“There all done, now shower and such is through that door there and ive got clothes for you both in the drawers along the wall. Ill get AJ cleaned up and fed while you take a shower ok?” She says, moving to wash her hands and throw away the bloodied gauze and such.

She then went over to the stock shelves, grabbing a towel, washcloth and then went to the clothing drawers, selecting dinosaur pajamas for AJ and some panda ones for ellie. “Allright you two, bath, food and then time to relax ok?” She says, going over to aj and reaching for his hand.

AJ giggled and clapped, "Big dragon!"

Sarah nodded and grabbed some clothes, not being too picky in what she chose but made sure they were clothes she was comfortable in. She was about to go to the shower when she saw Aj look at Echo suspiciously and back away.

"AJ," her tone was soft and sweet, "Listen to her, okay? she's gonna make you clean and get you so!e food, okay? Yum!" She smiled sat him and he smiled back, holding out his hand to Echo.

"Yum yum?" He questioned, tilting his head.

Sarah smiled, going through the door and going to take a shower.
