Rose had a happy life. Loving parents who were the Alpha and Luna of her pack, an annoying brother, and hope that one day she'd find her mate who'd love her unconditionally and shield her from the harsh world. But one night, her world went up in flames, not only taking her family but also all happiness she'd once had. To make matters worse, after her parent's Beta got moved up to Alpha, he relentlessly beat her to the point that the smell of her blood became familiar and going to sleep with broken bones was apart of her daily routine. But when he finally finds her, he's heartbroken at how beaten and terrified she is of the world, and most of all him. Can Rose learn to trust him even when his skeletons come to light? Can Shane pick up her pieces and put her back together even after secrets are revealed and they're put to ultimate the test?
