So, i was thinking; Are people more attracted to RPs based off of a video game or a completely custom Idea?
Personally, i have to admit that i am more attracted to video game based RPs, mostly because of how familiar i am with the settings, and many possible plots. Also, they provide a very stable foundation for theme and again, many possible plots.
So i was wondering, what do you think?

Personally, I like both. However, I would feel more comfortable with the stability of knowing possible outcomes on video game based RPs. At the same time, I would enjoy the sense of excitement of not knowing what comes net on original idea RPs.

^agreed. I like 'em both, mostly cause you can enjoy spending time in your favorite video game universe but it's also amazingly fun to write your own story based out a world you yourself have created. Same goes for movies and series They're all exciting in their own way
