Hey guys!
So I've been playing with this idea for a futuristic setting. I don't really know what kind of Lore to put behind it, but basically this would be an RP set at least a century from now. A united federation (to be worked out) has re-instated the gladiator games. Since the war is waged on the borders, many slaves are constantly taken into the capital. Sometimes, among these people would be individuals with enhanced powers. When one of these people are found, they are taken to a separate facility and held captive there. Usually these are people who's powers are underdeveloped/only recently discovered. Maybe those people didn't even know they had them until they were discovered.
Eventually they will be bought by slavers and trained to fight deadly duels. A team would be made up of Five slaves. My characters Kelly and Quinn are two of the five, and I will play a third NPC character as well. That means two more characters can join in. They will be teamed up and tasked to fight team after team as they fight for their survival, and for their master's coin.

EDIT: I have a semi-setting now, meaning that I have ideas but they are still adaptable and editable. In 2189, the Catholic church has taken over europe, ruling it with an iron fist from behind the fortified walls of the vatican, in Rome. The newly instated Roman Empire's borders encompass southern and northern Europe, all of the british isles, southern scandinavia and the westernmost part of Russia. Africa is still free, but is also a target in the war.

This seems quite interesting! I think I might use Serah Farron in this RP. She doesn't really have any "magical" powers, except she can see visions of the future (Oh yeah! She is a character from Final Fantasy XIII but I think she'll still work...) Anyway, I hope she works out. If not, I'm more then welcome to make another character.

Would I be able to use an anthro character? Or only humans?
