I was just sitting here thinking that I'd like to see what kind of characters people are needing for Storylines, Ships or anything of the sort so I was curious if we could put up an Adopt a Character forum so people can post characters they're hoping people can play?

I 'think' this sort of thing currently happens in the 'Art and Creativity' forum. It's kind of a hodge-podge of things there from people sharing their art aned writing to people selling their services or buying someone's services and even trading characters and putting characters up for adoption.

I'm a little confused what you're talking about here.

If you mean a place where people can request the kind of character they'd like to play with, that's already pretty standard in LFRP.

If you mean a place where people can create characters by request for others to use, as the Ranger mentioned, things like that happen a lot in Art & Creativity. Usually, someone will adopt a piece of art to turn into a character, but I've also seen folks offer services like writing up key items. It's also a place to just show off your creations.

If you mean a place people can give existing characters to people who might make better use of them... I did that in Smalltalk, I think it was. Passing on their characters isn't something I really ever see people wanting to do, though, and I'm not sure the ones I gave are actually going to get any use anyway.

Maybe you can better clarify what it is you'd like to see and do?
