This story is based on a book I am currently writing.
-Storyline: There consists of 4 sides. The Humans, The Werewolves, The Zombies, and the Wendigos. There is an eternal war going on, the human, and werewolf races are dwindling, but instead of working together, Humans have enslaved werewolves and are trying break down their DNA.
-Why: Zombies can't Turn Werewolves, by scratch, bite etc. The only way for a werewolf to become a member of the undead is A) Ingest(Eat/Drink) the Blood of a Zombie -OR- B) Survive the Bite of a Wendigo.
-What?: A Zombie is a Human that has been infected by the S379 virus, originally designed by the Scandinavian Government, and released by accident. Wendigos, originally were rogues that ate the remains of Zombies because they were starving, but has expanded to include normal werewolves as well.

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Modern
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
