You've become lost in the woods. Where you are is anyone's guess and where you were or are going is up to you. Upon searching around for a while, you happen across a sea to sky blue scaled Argonain with the wings of a dragon who looks to be like a hunter. It looks like he's at the moment checking his bow and some of the arrows he carries, preparing for the next hunt. What do you do to gain his attention? Will you ask him to help escort you out or even further, help you to the nearest town? Maybe he would make a good traveling partner or explorer.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Renaissance
Distant war may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat will likely be summarized, not played out in detail.
