"I can't believe I thought of this." Grunted Jamice as he paced his potions room of the tower. Teru, an angel who took the form of a floating orb of golden light in the living plane, sighed. "You need to get out more. Your people skills sigh, Jamice." He said softly, which only made the warlock roll his eyes. "Yeah yeah yeah, whatever. Go and get me the first batch of students please. I want to meet them." He shuddered. He hated kids, for one, and two, the idea of this many strangers roaming around his tower unaccompanied didn't thrill him.

Annabeth shuffled her feet nervously as a tall man came to get her and the other 9 students. She had just found out the week before that she had "Special Powers". Annabeth had accidentally thrown a orphanage worker 20 feet into a wall, leaving a crater. She sighed to herself as she followed the sound of echoing footsteps up the tower stairs.
(Hope you don't mind. PS Annabeth is Blind....)

[Don't mind at all.] Jamice's eyes fell apoun each student as he slowly walked by, like soldiers in a line. He stopped on Annabeth with a grunt. "You're the one who threw the orphanage guy. Hmm." He said as he continued to walk on, though a smirk seemed to find its way to his face. He stood in the center now, taking his silver wand from his coat. "I am Lord Dragonsbane. I am the ruler of this town and the High Warlock as well. As you know, my laws are strict and I don't require a police force due to my omniscience through crystal ball gazing. It is no different here. If you slip up, if you break rules, I will know, and you will be swiftly punished. Over the course of three weeks you will be staying in my tower to learn magic, potions, etcetra. Any questions?"
Blaze stood there with a frown that probably would remain plastered there all day. It hadn't been her idea at all to come to this place, but Argos, her dragon master, had said it was for the best if she learned how to control her magic. There was no arguing with that old obnoxious creature. What was the point in leaving Earth if she had to go to a school again.
Jamice looked about for a moment before smiling. "Good. Now. Each of you, please tell me your current skill and your most-studied magic type." He listened as some of the students said an element or two, and others mental magics like telekinesis and the more little known form of this type of magic, crepikinesis, creating explosions or large energy bursts with the mind. Soon, he stopped by Makenna. "And you? What can you do exactly?" He asked, tapping his wand on his chin as it sparked blue at the tip.
The girl waited patiently until it was her turn. Taking a good look at him, she sighed. Okay, maybe she needed it. After all, she'd burnt an entire inn just because she had felt sad about a particular memory, she had to control her outbursts before she could even think of fighting an opponent like the queen.
"I can create fire out of nowhere, and do all kinds of awesome stuff with that. I know a few healing spells too, but it's not something I do very well."

Star was next to Makenna. "You mean pyrokinesis? Or a firestarter?" Star immediately cover his mouth, he didn't mean to say it, but he couldn't help it, like verbal vomit. He kept his head down hoping Jamice didn't hear him.
Jamice hummed a bit. "Fire magic isn't easy to control. Even I haven't mastered it completely. Combat wise however, is a different story... And you." He pointed his sparking, sizzling wand tip at the male. "Step out of line. Face the person you were speaking to. It's more polite to look at them when you speak to them." The angel from before came down the stairs to take his humanoid form, a glowing.. Well.. Angel. Long blond hair and a white tunic-dress, big feathery wings, yadda yadda. "Lord Dragonsbane, you really should be a little more empathetic of the students. They're all probably nervous." He said softly, a passive air about him. Jamice shrugged. "I guess. Anyway... You're all dismissed. Choose your rooms on the fourth level. You will find that the room will magically tailor itself to your needs, such as waterproofing or extra furniture based on your needs and wants. Tomorrow you'll all please meet in the common room on the second floor at six-o-clock AM. Once there, we will sort out magic users between melee and ranged so that they can be tweaked in realtime.
Blaze nodded, less annoyed now and leaned to whisper to Star. "Yes to both the questions." She just hoped she wouldn't get lost in the freakishly tall tower. The warlock made her feel like a little kid back in middle school.
Star smiled and walked alongside Makenna, "Phew, I thought he was going to turn me into a toad!" Star smiled at Makenna as they walked up the stairs. He extended his hand after saying, "Hi! I'm Star! You?"
"Oh, and.. Star, is it? I have better hearing than you think." Jamice called as he worked over in his potion section. "I don't turn people into toads. I make people wish I turned them into toads." He said with a chuckle. "Just kidding. worst thing I'd do to you guys is kick you out. You'd have to do something pretty bad for that though."
She shook his hand smiling too at the kind guy. "I'm Blaze." The words came out before she could stop them. But it was done so she didn't bother correcting herself.
Turning her head back at Jamice she grinned. "Expect many bad things to happen when it comes to me, teacher!"

(( OCC: Lol, even Makenna's profile pic looks like she wants to say "When I catch you. I'm gonna fu*k you up." ))
Star froze when he heard jamice speak, then relaxed after hearing what followed. He turned after hearing Makenna, "ARE YOU MAD?" he thought to himself. Star didn't need the schooling, but he loved magic so much all he wanted to do was learn more. He smiled in the background hoping Jamice would forget he ever existed.

Hayley had been standing next to star in their line up barely paying attention to anyone, and when theyu were dismissed she started heading out when she heard jamice speak to star and makenna. she sighed as she turned to watch Makenna say that she would be a problem student. She was admittedly a biyt curious to Jamice's reaction.
(this character is new and doesn't have a lot of info yet , but in short shes a transforming elemantal. she can transform into normal animals but then she has speacil transformations that can control different elements)

"Is that so? Well, your punishment will be permanent lodging here, personally. Enjoy!" He said, waving his hand as he mixed a vial of one blue substance into a clear fluid, causing a poof of skull-shaped smoke.
(Hahaha that's what I was going for)
She glared at Jamice, angry at being reminded of that. "We'll see." She muttered then turned to Star, curious about the smoke at the same time. "So, I didn't hear about your abilities, I was a bit distracted. What can you do?"

Haley couldnt help but snicker a bit at jamice's comment. She the turned and starte walking back to her bedroom when she stopped and turned back " teacher, are we going to have to share our rooms or do we get our own?" she asked hoping that the answer would be the latter, but she would be fine either way.
"You get your own." Said Jamice as he put the vial of now pink colored liquid on a shelf, corking it and putting a "Health potion" tag on the wider part of the vial. On his shelves were all sorts of other types neatly aligned in strengths according to how dark the potions were in color. "It'll magically tailor itself to your preference when you step inside. Even if it's physically impossible in technical terms for it to exist, it'll still be exactly what you want. For example, an endless field of flowers in one extremely small space of my tower." He smirked. "And it's Jamice. Not Teacher, that makes me feel old-.. Er.. Well, it makes me feel my age."
Star blankly talked to Makenna with a smile, "Oh, well, besides spell casting, I can control the weather, and energy," but he was really listening to what Jamice would say to Haley.
haley chuckled "alright thank you .. jamice" she said then turned and walked out of the room and up to her bedroom just waiting for the next day. she was very excited about classes. She couldn't wait to learn new things.
