"I won't notice, huh?" Jamice's voice echoed in the room, and a little ball of blue light fluttered about like an insect with fairy like wings. "I told you, I see everything that happens here Blaze... Be thankful that those are just water. The flasks beside those are aqua fortis... Hydrochloric acid. The little thing you see here is a magical device I made to speak with people from my room. Anywho, since you're so eager to start doing potions it seems..." He clicked his fingers from his room, making the room light up to reveal a large studio full of all sorts of potions. And suddenly, Blaze looked like... Jamice. "Why don't you teach today, hah, 'Mr. Dragonsbane'?"

haley continued down the staircase of darkness " damn .. i need a torch" she slowly came to a stop as she placed her hand on the wall to only touch something slimy " ew what is this" she said as she quickly removed her hand from the wall and shook it vigorously.

Griffon raised a brow and stood up. "Adventure? Why of course I am ready!" He smiled and walked around the chair onto the middle of the red rug. "Where shall we be going my friend?"

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?" Blaze looked at her arms. "I have no idea about which potions are which!" She crossed her arms. "I want to be normal again now!" She wrinkled her nose in disgust. "Right now!"

Jamice chuckled coldly on the other end. "Aw, why? You seem to think you know enough to go snooping around a magically infused haunted tower belonging to a sadistic warlock mentor, so why can't you know enough about potions?" He smiled and clicked his fingers, causing Blaze to go back to her former self. "Just remember not to snoop, please. Or I'll give you a much less tasteful form for a much longer time. Maybe an ogre."

Star looked at griffon like he was crazy, "This tower is like a bajillion stories...I think we'll find somewhere to go." Star laughed to himself then floated out the door, leaving it opened, "C'MON!"

Griffon followed Star's lead out the door, sealing the wooden entry way as he passed through it. He looked at Star, "When does class start?"

Star blew some hair oput of his face. "Well, I think we have about..... two hours at most? Maybe it's more like an hour and a half? Anyway, did't Haley say she wanted to go outside yesterday? Maybe she's in the garden!" Star exclaimed. He headed twoards the stairs, motioning for Griffon to follow.

Griffon shrugged and followed, sounded like good enough a plan to him! He looked up and down the hall, actually taking in the sight for the first time. He let out a low whistle as he followed Star. This would be fun.

The girl stormed out of the room fuming. "Next time I'll turn you into an ogre..." Blaze said imitating hos voice. "Bah! Warlocks are show-offs." She stomped towards the garden too, knowing that if she stayed inside, she would eventually be itching for some exploring again.

haley continued to creep down the dark stair case slowly making sure not to miss a step and not to touch the walls. " god what have i gotten myself into here she said as she continued on " well , im not stopping now". finnlay her eyes began to ajust to the darkness when she came up with an idea "dang , why didn't i think of this before." she subconciously smacked herself across the face as she held out one of her hands " semi -transformation . fire" she said and her arm turned into the the arm she had when she was in her fire humanoid form. She then held out glowing yellow hand to reveal a seemingly endless stairway with walls covered in green slime. " gross" she said looking at the walls " well , i've seen worse... i can change into worse"

When Star and Griffon reached the garden he noticed the door. He cracked it open and couldn't see a thing. "HELLO!!" His voice echoed through the hallway. He turned to Griffon, "Wanna go in?" His smile grew larger.

haley turned around when she heard the echo of a familiar voice " STAR! IS THAT YOU!" she called out.

Griffon gave a weird look. "Why is the garden pitch black?" A voice drifted up the steps. "And talking?" Griffon loved magic but sometimes it was just weird.

"What are you talking about? This garden is full of color. This DOOR is pitch black?" HE said it like it was a question. He turned to face the door after hearing Haley's voice. "HALEY!" He had to think of a spell to make sure this wasn't a trick. "What was that spell Grams was always saying to find me when i got lost? Oh crap......OH!" He stiffened up and held out his hand after cracking his knuckles. "Guiding spirits I ask your charity, lend me your focus and your clarity. Take this to the one I cannot find, restore that and my peace of mind." After saying this a ball of light appeared in Star hand. It glowed blue on the inside, with a white outline. It looked like a tiny wisp. He thew it inside, watching it illuminate the darkness as it passed. It reached Haley, and it allowed Star to see her. "Thank god for spell casting," Star said as he put one foot in.

He shrugged. It was early and he was tired. Its a miracle he even was up when Star came in. Heck if he knew what he was doing. "Whelp, lets go in then!" Griffon put his hand lightly on Stars back to usher him worwards through the entry. He wanted to get a move on. "C'mon lets go. I wanna see this place!" He rugged his eye with his free hand, sitting in a chair was easy, but now he was feeling tired. His voice was a little groggy and probably would be so until he ate, although he wasn't even hungry right now.

haley looked atthe whisp likelittle ffor a moment then bavk up at the entrance " so that is you star .. come on down .. just don't touch the walls"

Star Skipped his way down the hallway, avoid the walls as much as he could. The place creeped him out a little but he tried to hide it. When Star met Haley he greeted her with a big hug. "HALEY!"Star's smile lit up again.

Griffon followed quietly behind, rubbiing some sleep from his eye.

haley stiffened at first but soon hugged star back. "well lets keep going , im wondering where this place leads to"
