Sup boys, with the start of my freshman year, I've been sorta busy and a bit lonely, and honestly I kinda just want some one to talk to. If you want to talk about some danganronpa, anime, cartoons, some vidya games, anything really, please shoot me a reply? uwu. I haven't been active, since November I believe? But after my first semester I think I've gotten the hang of managing school and my social life. (God, I'm so sorry if this sounds desperate, I'm just some kid who doesn't know how to talk, I'm-)
Hey, easy. It's good that you're able to ask.
Admittedly, I don't feel up to talking much right now and I don't even know what danganronpa is. (I'm also a tad media illiterate, soooo... lots of things I'm totally unfamiliar with. ) But I wanted to let you know you're on the right track. Hopefully you get some great responses soon. You're also always welcome to pop into Just Talkin', RPR's "official" chat thread. Sometimes it's empty, or sometimes the folks lurking in there are quietly distracted, but it's own of the easiest spots to just dive into a conversation.

I am afraid most of the listed subject I don't know a lot about, but I might know a few movies or books!

Yeah it's a loaded question but I don't mind In general my preferences lean to fantasy and sci-fi.
Some of my favorite fantasy are Harry Potter, Wheel of Time, Percy Jackson, Mercedes Thompson, and anything by Mercedes Lackey. On the Sci-fi side I enjoy Star Wars books, The Saga of the Seven Suns, and the Pendragon books by D.J. MacHale.

Those are super solid books! Percy Jackson was really an inspiration when I started writing on my own, so it's really an amazing series!! As much as I love a few select sci-fi books, I've never found many series that peaked my interest. Sci-fi has always seemed so interesting to me, but I've been afraid to venture into different books lately.
Got any suggestions? (^ω^)

I'm actually writing a trilogy of series (maybe more!) and I like anime, specifically Naruto. I also read a lot including the Eragon series from Christopher Paolini, Harry Potter by J.K Rowling, and anything by R.L Stine! I like reading fantasy, mystery, sci-fi, mythology, adventure, horror, dystopia, and basically anything that isn't non-fiction! I'm currently polishing my characters (so far 22 canon characters!) so I can start writing the first book which takes place in a steampunk world.
I play a lot of games including Bioshock Infinite, Borderlands, LIMBO, racing games, puzzle games, anything! So if you want to talk about anything, I'm all ears. ^v^

Oh my gosh! I love Naruto!! It was my childhood!! It really got me into art!! I have the same whole, non-fiction taste though, it just generally doesn't engage me ya'know? Also just the setting for the story you're writing sounds awesome??? Also bioshock is one of my favorite games!!! I loved the aesthetic and the gameplay!! ^ω^
Yeah! I'm not finished with Bioshock though. And thanks about the book thing.

As for sci-fi recommendations...hmmm...do you prefer long, thick books of long-spanning epics with a myriad of characters, or do you generally prefer books that focus more on a single character or a small group of characters targeted more at teens and young adults? Or does it even matter?
Judging from how you like Percy Jackson I'm going to assume you don't mind the latter, and recommend the Pendragon series by D.J. MacHale. Ten books in all, but it shouldn't take too long to read each individual one.
In all honesty, I really love thick books with a heavy focus on world building, large casts, more darker subject matter?? But honestly any book with engaging story lines are perfect!! Also thank you so much for the recommendation!!! I've been meaning to get into another book series, so I'm gonna have to go out and search out for those books!!
Oof, I feel it's fun to take ones time! Really engulf yourself in the experience, ya know?
if we talking about books i absolute recommend the WondLa trilogy (i havent read the last one yet) omg . that an Space Runner , for that i think there are 2 books
Ah, well, in that case...I highly recommend the Saga of the Seven Suns series by Kevin J. Anderson. A ton of characters, adventures spanning multiple star systems, and the storylines keep you on the edge of your seat right up to the end of the seventh book where all the previous loose ends get wrapped up in a highly satisfying ending!
WondLa books are pretty thick but i say Space Runner is average in the thickness?
and also that sounds pretty neat! i might at it to my books to read list
